This is my first shave with the '75 SS and it is a great shaver. Second day with the Arko cream...just look at all of that super foamy meringue goodness!

This was the seventh day of this razor and blade, but they should be good for one or two more shaves. I've been using a different soap or cream every day, though.

Someone in Germany made this razor for Merrill Barber Supply in London Ontario (my hometown). I wish I knew who the makers were - they made a very nice razor. The Pino Sylvestro eau de toilette is an old-fashioned Italian scent. It's a favourite of mine that turns up ocassionally at Festival Fine Foods here in Toronto. It has a resinous aroma that reminds me of ecclesiastical incense.

Great shave, and a small splash of Alt Innsbruck provided a fine finish.

 

So I have been inspired by the "menthol mondays" thread for some time and decided to design my own menthol shave kit. Here's what I came up with...after weeks of gathering the tools

This was my first shave with the Progress....it could be my goto razor! I love it's weight and it simply matches my face..like they've met before.

One of the advantages of living on the "Left Coast" and starting my day 3 hours behind everyone is, I can see everyone's shave kit selections while I am having my coffee and waking up. (about the time everyone is having lunch - Hey, I'm retired! ) Just got the 4/8 Barbers razor back from honing by Glen (gssixgun) and wanted to try in out. (terrific job BTW Glen! ) Mark and Chris inspired me with their Old Spice Theme they had going so, wah-lah the remaining little pin-ball in my tiny brain finally dropped into a hole.
