What is your absolute favorite Shave Cream? If you could have only one what would it be? I'm very new and haven't tried many but I like Trumpers Violet so far.
Kent Mentholated SC is very nice, but very expensive per ounce. Any of the Arko creams are good, and cheap too. C.O. Bigalow can be found at Bath and Body Works and the price is somewhere between the Kent and the Arko.

Let me preface this by saying I'm mostly a soap guy. However, the following are creams that I might purchase again: -T&H in 1805 or West Indian Limes -Connaught Shave Cream, multiple scents but Peppermint for certain (more cooling than many mentholated creams) -Kiss My Face (unscented, key lime, or cool mint) KMF isn't as good as the other two, but extremely cheap.
I bought a tub of that last Saturday and am giving it a try tomorrow. I am trying to settle into a soap / creme rotation where I use a soap today, then a creme tomorrow etc...
From those that I own I prefer best Omega (same as Proraso, C.O.Bigelow), Gada, Nivea Mild, Tet-a-Tet, Everest and Comme il Faut.
In no particular order based on scent and performance: T&H 1805 Body Shop Maca Root C.O. Bigelow C&E Nomad everything is just filler!

Favorite Cream/Soap... Williams Menthol if they still made it. I have to admit using the regular Noxzema Facial Cold Cream gives a pretty gosh-darn good shave!
Out of the many creams I have used, Musgo Real is my favorite. I consistently get great shaves with it. I like the grassy scent and the skincare is great. My only complaint is that it doesn't come in a tub.
+1 on the Musgo Real. I also like the Musgo Real after shaves and colognes. There are so many good ones out there.
My absolute favorite is Saint Charles Shave Smoke & Beads. But there are others that come very close to it. My choice is based primarily on the scent since they all seem to give me great lather performance. Favorite cream Prorasso hands down! Great scent. long lasting lather, builds quickly, small amount needed so it lasts for a long time, and excellent lube properties.
