Glad you liked it! The Williams was a good choice to go with it - I've always used J M Fraser's as part of that combo myself, but the softer citrus scent of Williams sounds nice. I'm gonna try that tommorow. goshawk

Wednesday, June 23, 2010 Razor: Merkur Long-Handled Progress Blade: Super Iridium Brush: Vulfix 2234 Super Cream: Speick A/S: Generic Witch Hazel, Speick Splash BBS today without really trying. Actually, what happened is that I was thinking over the day's upcoming activities while I was shaving and went into the dreaded RoboShave mode and made an unintentional added pass. The results were great, though (could have had a nasty nick from not paying attention to the shave). I'm a Speick lover and don't mind saying so--very good stuff.

I try to check this thread every day so I can keep tabs on the different types of gear everyone likes to use. Your SOTD is one of the few that I have seen where someone is using a Parker...or it could just be my memory is failing...
That President is a nice shaver 'Hawk! I have an Aristocrat which is the same thing only gold plated and it's about the same as a non-adjustable Fat Boy set on 3 or 4. Great heft and a smooth performer. I'm sure you will be very happy with that beauty! Good, hope you like the Williams with the AV 4711 combo!

I stand corrected. This one's gold plated too (though the finish has seen better days!) so I guess what I've got is an Aristocrat. Whatever it is, I like it. :happy108 goshawk
