Another very careful shave with the bad-ass Parker 91R razor. This razor is built very poorly with uneven blade gaps on a single side, but strange that it gives me very good shaves... even with not so good blade as Treet Dura Sharp. But I must be very careful. Just a micron to the left or right from the point of no return and I could get a severe cut.

Am I going towards the slant?

My Slim must know I have that '52 Super-Speed coming, as every shave this week has been fantastic. Close, smooth, and effortless.....And the Derby is on Day 5 and shaved perfect today, don't see why I should change it...I'll wait til the first tug or pull, and then it's change time...

@Alexey--My friend, the Everest is sooooo fantastic, that every time I shave with it, I feel great. The lather explodes in no time, and it feels so nice and cool. This Tabiano gel is from Italy, and it smells very nice, and not only that--it soothes and cools sensitive skin very well. I think you'd love it.

Parker 91r

I have a 91r also. I've found that if you look on the under side of the top and bottom plates, you'll find a P. Make sure those are lined up and it should even out the blade gap. The gap will still be huge but more even. Works for me, hope it works for you.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately (or opposite?) there's no signs of letter P, I looked everywhere. Perhaps, what I've got is a old stock Parker before 2010-model head, which is mad On the other hand, I somehow turned the top cap for 180 degress and voila! Now I only have blade bent in the center

A great Saturday shave! And the Mr. Taylor provided an extremely fine finish. Too bad I'm just going to cut the grass rather than entertain royalty. It's supposed to rain today, so I had better get going.

Not to be a bore about Williams, but this was the 7th time in the past 8 days that I used it. I'm trying actually to use up a puck of soap, something that doesn't happen every week, and this one is getting close to the end. Then I have a tube of Proraso to finish off.

Also called it quits for this particular Pella blade after only five shaves. Don't know if that will be typical for this brand or not. The Schicks give me 7-10.
