You may want to what till you can feel your face before rating the shave. :rofl

Nice, I am hoping the Standard head variant I received today is also a keeper. Good to hear positive results.

3.5 blade, 3 passes, DFS. This morning was a bit rushed. Not a bad shave for the little time I gave it. No where near BBS, but adequate and no weepers. After spending 2 weeks going through my blade samples, (some darn good ones too) and getting daily BBS performance, I wanted to return to my old store blades and compare. Today I noticed a big difference those better blades make. I will repeat the entire cycle to fine tune my preferences, before narrowing my blade field.

    Aramis-EDT

Another fantastic shave this morning with my Ming Shi/Sharp combination, and a lovely German-made cream. Cerrus smells great, it has such rich lather, and a light cooling effect, which is similar to the one from Arko Moist. This balm from Gillette is very, very cooling and nice. ;) :D

Fantastic shave, the touch up hone was apparently quite successful. 3 passes, BBS. Waiting for the dentist to open up. I was doing OK as long as I was on the antibiotics but once I finished them up the toothache is back in a big way. This sucks and I'm tired of it, I'm squaring it away this morning.

    Wednesday, could have been better.

    L1 injector with Pella blade
    Williams soap
    VdH boar brush

Not the closest shave. I'm inclined to blame the combination of the mild L1 Schick with the Pella blade. More rough spots left than I'm used to.
