Day 4 with this version of the Super Speed and I must admit, I'm less than thrilled. A very mild shaver. Had to preform a ATG to get a decent shave.

One pass DFS, with a little skin stretching...Don't know what this one pass DFS thing is all about. I'm not shooting for a one pass "injector type shave", just happened again today...Had so much great lather still in brush, I did a 2nd ;ATG; Pass for fun, and got a smooth, irritation free BBS...I'm not one to look a gift-horse in the mouth, but I'm getting the best shaves of my life, without really trying...Cool

An excellent shave using one of the "other" English creams. The Pashana Bay Rum provided a very comfortable finish.

Post: "Cold" water rinse*, ice water splash, Humphrys Maravilla Lotion + 2 drops M Bomb, Curve

Shave Rating: 5 Blades

If it hadn't been for the fantastic smell of the Egyptian Spice, this would have been a 4 Blade shave. It was just the right scent and just the right time.

* Cold tap water from our township feels room temp at best during the summer. Thus the reason for the half liter bottle of water kept in the 'fridge - gotta finish the rinse with as cold a splash as I can get!

A couple of lessons this shave:

1. Less water in the brush. My Williams lather was much better with a little less water.

2. NO ATG pass. The SS/Feather combo does a good job and ATG pass is just too irritating for too little payoff. Plus, it means I get to shave more often

DFS with no irritation! Florida Water and other citrus type scents are great for the summer in East TN.

Simple but good shave. The Dettol is excellent. But it seems to be discontinued. I can't find it at their homepage. In combination with the Tabula Rasa ASG a nice refreshing shave.
