In my younger days I spent a bit of time in the Hooskow.
The guards would come around every third day with the tray of Bic disposables. You were allowed 4.
It took all 4 razors to barley complete a shave.
That was the only time I ever used a Bic.
    I had no choice

  2. I assume that the cutting tools shown here can be used for any purpose just beautiful to Jack the Ripper in 1888 London at that!

Meh, I used the single edged BIC's for doing my sideburns before I stumbled onto injectors.

Those old BIC classics are actually great in a pinch. Single edge, no pivot or goo strip, and they are smooth as butter (for one shave).

Other than razors and pens I can't recall ever seeing bic foam or gel on the shelves of any store. They're probably the same as edge gel just under license to slap a different label on them for the european market.

I had an opportunity to bring in the tube version from Brazil with an import I did recently. The name in itself scared me so I declined. I can remember the orange and white razors and the horror...oh the horror.

I was surprised to see the double edge blades make a showing here in the states and curious how they did.

  7. Here next to me, a store has the products, and I assure you no harm. Especially the gel and 'great!
