Thanks Steve! I thought about you a lot. I have been having my coffee during my morning shaves and I am reminded of your gormet blends. Mine is just cheapie columbian but I doctor it up into a coffee chowder latte. LOL :D

Sorry for the late pic, I lost track of time and before you know it, I only had 5 minutes left, it was either no shave or shave, so I went for it.

3 passes, with a non lathered touch up, I splashed my face with warm water instead and lightly glided my razor over the rough spots... Amazingly with this setup not a single nick, weeper or any irritation what so ever, hell I was expecting the Clubman to melt my face off but nope, nada, it was a rewarding shave, but not something I want to do on a daily basis. :happy102

Those are some sweet brushes, and now I have to get the Moos A/S to go with my Moos stick.

Oh and thanks for being such an enabler! :happy102:happy102:happy102

Haha, well just a heads up on the Moos After Shave, there's nothing special about it other than the scent, sadly.

    Happy Thursday From Florida!

    Hot Shower
    RAB Scuttle
    The Dridecker (Thanks Bob!)
    TSD ISZ Wheat Cream
    Merkur 23C
    Wally Wilks Blade (1)
    Cold Water Rag
    TSD ISZ ASM
Lustray Draggon Noir (smells like yellow Dial soap, which is okay by me)

    3 Passes = 4 Blade DFS.

The Dridecker is everything that ya'll claim it to be. It is a decent brush. A bit floppy because of the length of the hairs, but a decent brush none-the-less. I may slap an O ring on the base of the hairs to tighten the knot, but this brush will be in the rotation now.

The Wally Wilks - nothing to get excited about IMHO, but it did provide a serviceable shave. I would not have a problem suggesting that someone needing to source a local blade pick them up, but I do not see myself buying them all up and hoarding them for the shavepocalypse either.

    Have a great day ya'll!

    Tet-a-tet SC :love008 :love008 :freezing :freezing
    Tet-a-tet AS Balsam :love008 :love008 :freezing :freezing

Oh gosh, back to bed for me--I still feel lousy. At least, I had a good shave.

    Thursday

    No-Name Finest Re-knot
    Valobra Stick
    Feather Portable Bull Mastiff
    Red Pack Israeli Personna (1)
    Alum
    Clubman Bay Rum

Today was the "Oh *&^*&%$#% I woke up 45 minutes late and need to get my a$$ motivated shave." It surprisingly was better then expected. Three quick passes after a quick scalding shower. Ended up with a respectable DFS. Shave quality 4 / 5. Overall Experience 3 / 5. A little too much of the Alum this morning and now I feel like Kenny Rogers after his last botched face lift with some overly taut skin. Oh well, at least I made it to work on time.

    It's Thursday, I'm almost sure.

    Vintage Williams Soap
    Omega badger
    Schick Type D injector
    Pella blade (2)

And another DFS. Much more comfortable than with the same razor yesterday. I think the difference is that I got a much better lather with the Williams today than I did with Musgo cream yesterday.
