At last, I can say I start to feel like a human after being so damn sick all week. The Ingram cream was so cold and beautiful, and the Osage Rub gave me that extra shot of menthol, which made the end of the shave perfect!

The first shave with the Super Thin was awesome, shave #2 not so much. I had to make three passes over my shin just under my knee. The good news is The Honeeze has supplied us with enough blades to last until we are 90ish. I don't feel guilty about using a blade twice and chucking it!

Now ... off to Ybor for a "One Beer One Shot" marathon and maybe some new ink!

Ahhhhhhhhh, too hot down in Florida--my Daddy and my Mom live in Boca Raton, and they say they still get 90 degrees every day. I believe that, because September is supposed to be a bad month--I've been there before many times in summer.

 

Ahhh Ybor, I used to do concerts at a Jazz Club there...Don't remember the name...The Jazz Celler maybe, but it was owned by Dick Rumore, so if you go to any club with Jazz in the title and ask for Dick Rumore and tell him Lloyd says hi, That cat also sold me a saxophone just like "Bird" played...When I asked him how much? He said whatever you want and can afford...What a sweet gesture...He could have gotten anything for that horn on the open market.
I also did some concerts at the Brad Cooper art Gallery in Ybor...the 1st one was dedicated to Jack Kerouac and Charlie Parker-The gallery held like 80 people and over 10,000 showed up...it made national news...they called in all kinds of extra cops. Stopped all traffic in Ybor.Turned into an instant festival.happened in the early 90's...

This is my fresh from the Flea Market $3 Fatboy with a fresh blade in it. I'd like to hereby retract all the pejorative comments I've ever made about DE razors over the years. This one is an absolute beast. An actual baby's bottom feels like sandpaper compared to the shave I'm rockin right now. It really is ridiculous. Not bad at all for a $3 razor, shaves like this could convince me to give a couple days a week back to safety razors.

My Shave today

Nice hot shower, the Parker Brush was warming up.
I prep with Johnson baby oil.
I used Erasmic shave soap, a Gillette Slim Adjustable with a Super Max blade.
The first pass was set on seven and the second was set on five.
Followed with Clubman splash and Canoe balm.
A great BBS.
