I bought two of these from MB last week, and as I told her.....its do darn good, I kicked all the other OO cubes out of the shower! Method shavers would do themselves a favor to replace their "cube" with this....its so slick I can't describe in words. And, very moisturizing. Fragrance free as well.

I tried to buy her out of remaining stock, but she wouldn't let me:(

I just got a couple bars of the Toasted Coconut in and am evaluating it. I will give you folks a little feedback on this one in a few days.

    Joe,

I know most OO soaps I've had don't lather all that great. How does the Issy OO lather? You mentioned using it to replace the cube, but how does it perform as a bath soap?

It lathers much like your other OO soaps do....

    That said,

I don't know how he does it. His soaps are among the best I have ever used, and I have used MANY. The 100% OO performs much like his others....ultra-moisturzing. As it doesn't contain coconut oil, it won't lather nearly like one that does....but it is more than qualified as a bath soap (which is what I use it for). With a sponge/washcloth - you can of course build a mountain of lather with it. :)

This is an excellent soap for those with fragrance problems/allergies or dry skin.

100% OO soaps will lather like mad IF they've been 'cured' for over 6 months, or made with discounted liquid so they cure faster. We make ours with 100% milk that contains natural sugars which allows for a bit more bubbles. Of course, they'll never have the huge bubbles like soaps with coconut or palm kernal (which contain a high amount of lauric fatty acids) but they're (OO) far gentler than soaps that do.

Well at least I must finally be in the right part of the soap world. Been looking for some good moisturizing bath soaps that produce good lather and rinse easily for quite some time and have tried many who make that claim.

I just received a bar of the Muller's Lane 100% Coconut and 2 bars of the Issy Coconut from Mama Bear and from the first couple of showers, I must say I am impressed so far with the moisturizing effects of both of them. I plan to use them for a couple weeks before making any final conclusions.

I really, really like the coconut scent a lot more than I thought I would. It is just a nice clean fragrance and one I could definitely be happy with for the long run. I prefer clean scents such as this. I cannot handle strong flowery, perfumy scents in a bath soap.

I will definitely have to put a bar of the Issy OO on my wish list for the next order.

Ron, you have bought 2 of my favorite soaps in the entire world.. you cannot go wrong with either Mullers Lane Farm or Issy soaps.. I promise you I have tried so many it is frightening..

I have weeded out a lot of lousy soap over the years.. these are two of the finest, if not the finest soapmakers out there.. :)

Out of all the bath soaps I have bought, there has never been a time when I was happy with at least two of the soaps in the same order. One or more bars was either a scent I couldn't stand, or some performance [or lack thereof] issue I didn't like.

Both of these soaps are making me smile! I love the coconut scent more and more each morning. And both bars seem to be very moisturizing, lather well and rinse away easily. The lather is different that any other soap I've experienced. It's not a bubbly, foamy, exploding lather...it's more of a thick, rich, creamy, luxurious lather. It feels really good to my skin...especially during these winter months.

Ya know, I don't need a lot of variety when it comes to bath soaps. I could be happy with one scent if I really, really like it. I could be happier if I could find two scents I really like. The moisturizing, lather and rinsing are THE most important attributes in what I'm looking for. I might try some more scents now that I've found a soap that performs like I think it should.

PottyDoctor...who's climbing down from his Soap Box now!

I really enjoy the 100% coconut smell (and performance for that matter). The smell reminds me of the beach back home. I guess thats probably because a lot of sunscreen has coconut fragrance in it. Either way, its great stuff.

    Can't. Hold out. Any longer!!

That's it! I've been baited and hooked. I'm off to get some of these soaps.

    Warning: :signs108

Okay, guys. This will be my first purchase from Mama Bear. I've already added Rosemary Mint SS to my shopping cart. Can you tell me which is the SS that smells like church incense? Is it Dragon's Tears, Dragon's Blood, or another one?

    Sorry for the derailment.

How does the issy oo compare to the other issy soaps? I've tried most of the scented issy, but never the oo.

It lathers like an OO soap, whereas the others (Issy soaps) tend to generate more lather, the OO is more of a creamy & slick consistency.

I was curious. I knew most of the others used olive oil, but others as well. I guess there's another on the list of future purchases.
