And the only thing that will cure it is...MORE COWBELL Yes, I do have the fever, I had it licked for a long while but apparently in the fall, a not so young man's fancy turns to shaving stuff.
Not usually. The only time I do is when I empty out two or three bowls from a stack. That's not too often, but I have several TSD sample sizes that obviously get used up quicker than a full size puck. When I do shuffle, I'll try and separate the similar scents (I have a couple different sandalwoods, lavenders, and bay rums) into different stacks so they're not too close together.
The only thing I try to rotate regularly is my brushes. I have one boar and one badger brush that I try to alternate days on so each has a chance to fully dry before using it again. I also tend to put a blade in one razor and leave it there until I need to change blades and I do tend to use one razor (my Futur) more than my others. Everything else is up for grabs and depends solely upon my mood, and I'm not afraid to use the same soap, cream, or A/S more than one day in a row if I feel like it.
Why do you find it important to start with a dry brush? Can't see how it makes a difference to the brush or the lather..
Yeah, I've got that.. I would expect mold to develop if it's stored in an unventilated area while still damp... That's a no-no. But do you think mold would develop if the brush is continuously wet and lathered daily, and never allowed to dry completely? How about folks who use only one brush? It never dries out completely.
I rotate razors and brushes randomly based on my mood of the moment. I'm currently rotating 9 razors (far too many, I know) and 7 brushes with two more on the way. Go ahead. Make fun of me.
