If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it.. the past week of shaves have displayed deadly perfection. The MWF is reaching top position in my rotation. It lathers wonderfully and without issue. It doesn't dry down too quickly and it's slick as an eel in a Christmas Eve frying pan. The iKon Classic long handle seems to allow for just the right amount of pressure [read: no pressure] while giving a perfect amount of control. I originally thought it would be too slim for my hands but after using a number of different handles and razors, it is my favorite by a decent stretch.

    Have a great day Ya'll!

First SOTD for me here at TSD

Hello Gents, I'm fairly new to TSD, I think this may be my first SOTD here. Been wet shaving and DE for a while, recently though I've taken to SE shaving. Really liking it too! Any R&B members may know me as John the painter.

Vintage Every-Readay flip-front (hinge is in the front near cutting edge) ornate brass SE razor with open comb.

Super, smooth and close shave this morning. Had one small nick under my lip, but my styptic took care of that right away. BBS! :D Happy Shaving!

Welcome to TSD SOS of the day! SE shaving is a much overlooked approach and provides some of the best shaves. Wish you could take a pic of that bad boy for us to enjoy. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

Thanks Mark! I don't mean to bore everyone with the snow pics, it's just I'm trying to get into the Christmas spirit with the "White Christmas/Currier & Ives" winter shots. :D I'm getting ready for the Christmas Dinner and some Football games this coming weekend! :happy108
