What is a lanai?

    I've seen this word used a few times in messages and posts. Its not a word we use in Wales. Having looked at Google could someone please confirm, is it a covered porch area at the front of your house?
    If so, I really want one. And a rocking chair. And slippers. And peace and quiet. :D

    :happy097It is a covered area attached to your house that gathers pollen in the Spring, hot in the summer, and cold in the winter. It provides activity for constant cleaning and bug extermination. We had converted to a Sun Room with thermal windows and insulation and use it all of the time now.....
