Schick Hydro 3 razor

Anybody else using this razor with a brush and soap? I really like the shave I get except the handle gets slippery on me. If you know of an alternative handle that fits the cartridge please post it here.

 

Afraid your out of luck on an alternative to the schick handle. It seems the makers of the luxury cartridge handles only make them for gillette products, I guess schick has never been as popular.

 

they have this rubber coating you can apply to your metal tools. go to lowes and get some. I think you just dip it. let it dry

 

Plasti Dip? I've been meaning to pick some of that up for other tools.

 

I haven't used it for anything shave related, but Plasti Dip is great on tools and I see no reason it wouldn't work on a razor handle.

 

Thanks! guys, never thought of that. I've tried both Gillette Mach 3 and Schick Hydro 3 and I get a better shave with the Schick. The cartridges are cheaper too.

 

have you ever tried the Schick Slim Twins? I get a great shave with them and they a dirt cheap.

 

4 blades 4, 8 dollars that is cheap

 

Makes me laugh at my sticker shock for Feather blades at .20-.25 per blade.
