Guys, just wanted to let you know that it may be tomorrow before I get the box sent off. We've been having a lot of cold rainy weather here and my legs have been letting me know it. (I have nerve damage in both legs) I did repack the box yesterday and grabbed a bottle of Osage rub and one of the shave stick tubes, in their place I put in a decent rolls razor that has a decent hone. The strop is there but whether it can be restored I don't know. I shave with a straight or a DE, but those rolls razors scare me lol. Sorry about the delay guys.
I hear you on the leg problems. I know how that goes - just the one leg for me though. I did get some good news from the doc yesterday - My last A1c was 5.5 which is down from 7.0 three months ago! Looking forward to seeing that box. I already went to the post office and grabbed a new large flat rate box.
Thanks every body. I did not intend to hijack the thread - I was just excited about my test results. GO BOX GO!
Just got back from the p.o. The tracking # is: 0310 1230 0001 2789 2557 According to the receipt it should arrive on Saturday. One note, I received a note from BillR this morning asking about the Rolls. He stated that his Grandfather had used one back in the day, so, being the sentimental sort, I told him I would put his name on it. Which I did. I also included a print-out of the directions. I'm sorry if this upsets anyone, but I wanted to be upfront and honest on this. Fly away little box!
You didn't PM me or state who it was going to and the tracker doesn't specify. Is the box on it's way to me? Did you ever get my PM?
question for next round can you put non shaving stuff in the box? That is if you dont have shave stuff to put in can you put in other usefull or fun stuff? Thanks B
I just wanted to add a note to this. I saw that Tony had put a Rolls in the box. I just asked him a little bit about it to find out more info. He really did not have much to say other than was already in his post about it. I Have been looking for one for a long time but I do not trust what I see on ebay and the ones I find here in the antique stores are priced upwards of $50. My intention was not to "Reserve" the item for me. I was just asking about it. I want to play by the rules of the box and if it is not there when it gets to me - that is not a problem, that is why they call it a Grab Bag. I hope this makes sense and that it does not come across as me being greedy.
