How often does this go 'round? Its an awesome idea, but I haven't accumulated enough yet to participate. I'd definitely be interested at a future date once my stash is overflowing.:sad038
OK the box is opened! Man that sucker is full! Fun stuffs in there - not sure how I am going to get the things in that I have set aside. Very cool! I will not be able to do much with it until saturday. I have been home from work an hour now I have to go to my other job and then a few hours sleep and then a double shift tomorrow. My wife has her eye on some creams = I think she is starting to get her ADs going. :happy102
I know i feal ya NoahG I want to do the next round also i asked if you can put other stuff got a reply yup ya can,unless it changes. That is what i will do as i don't have shave stuff i don't use yet. If i read all of the above posts on this great box it is to get rid of stuff you don't use get stuff you want to try and if you don't have you can substitute what ya got and try some new stuff. I am shure that i will be corrected if wrong. B
We started this box up to take the place of the last box. The box moves as fast as the person behind you can turn it around. As for not having enough stuff to participate... well, you can see that for the most part people are putting more in than they are taking out and we have already had to pull four Newbie kits out of the box on this round. I think it would be okay to have one or two people in the rotation that don't have much to put in the box.
Thats one of the wonderful things. You don't have to give much (but it is encouraged) just dont clear out the box aha. You get to see so many things you wouldn't ever hear about, or try.
Yup because we were all in your shoes at one time. I didn't feel like I had a lot to put in the box when it was my turn either but I did what I could and I found some new stuff that I must add to my rotation .
Well, ok then, sign me up for the next go round! I know I have most of a tub of notting hill croap, I don't like the smell, but it shaves great. and definately a few odds and ends. I love this place!!
Finally got back to the box. Sorry guys I ended up working at all three jobs pulling double shifts on two of them for the last two days. I am finally back home and dove into the box this morning. Here is a pick of what it looked like after I opened it. Here are the things I am taking out. I forgot to put the rolls that I got from Freebird in the pic. Some of the items I took out were simply taken out to make room the the things I want to put in. There are a lot of soaps in the box. 1- ARKO shave Stick (for my brothers newbie kit I am building him) 1- St. Charles Shave coconut oil shave cream - my wife nabbed this 1- All Natural Shave Cream - she nabbed this one also 1- KMF MoistureShave Cream - Been looking for this stuff every where 1- Yardleys Oatmeal and Almond bar soap 1-Master Comb shave soap 1-Green no name shave soap - smells nice. 1-AOS pre shave oil sample 1-Caswell/Massey Pres Shave oil Gillette open comb Weck open comb 12k finishing stone Here is what I am planning to put in the box. I am hoping to fit it all in without taking some more things out. Gillette Ball End Tech w/ 1 pack of Astras and 1 pack of Persona Reds Eversharp/Shick Injector with Ted Pella Blades (about 15) Gem 1912 SE with 5 Gem Blades King Oscillator Razor (just a unique collection piece) 100 Persona Red Pack blades 1 VDH boar brush 2- CO Bigello Shave Cream samples Anherb After Shave Gel 5 pack of assorted cigars (1-Montecristo, 1-Bolivar, 1-Mayorga dark, 1-Mayorga light, 1-Torano Exodus 1959) I have a couple other items that I may put in if I can get them to fit or I will save them for the next round of the box. Or PIF them out. I am getting ready to go put my DJ hat on and do a wedding this afternoon and when I get back I am going to see what I can do to get everything in the box.
Is that cigars you're putting in the box?? You would do that after the box has already been to me! :happy102

No Worries - I already put it back in the box. It will probably be a while before I get to the skill level of a finishing stone. Planning to put this puppy in the mail tomorrow!
This is taking forever to make the rounds and get back home, I kick myself every time I open this thread for not signing up. I won't make that mistake again. Anyway I look forward to the next round. Just kidding though ya'll take your time with this.
The box is packed up and ready to go! I ended up putting somethings back in and taking out some more blade samples and another Arko stick for my buddy. And I added some other items as well. I really enjoyed the box while it was at my house. So many things in there and so many things to look at. The box is welcome at my house anytime. One more stop and then it is back to Jeff's! It will probably need some Thinning and some more items put in before it heads out on the road again. Lots of soaps and blades. Thanks to all that had the box before me, it was fun to see what you guys put in. Joe the package will be in route to Alaska first thing in the morning. No, I didn't see any in it while it was here. I didnt have one for my town, too small - pop. 1500).Will look for an Okie one,for the next go-round, when I get the chance.
I was not able to locate a postcard for my town either. I was bummed out because I thought that was a fun idea. There were no postcards In the box when it came to me.
