It seems, I fast forwarded time and posted my Monday shave in last week's topic. Now I have to shave the second time and post the routine here. :happy102

As I'm getting ready for this morning's shave, I realize the house is totally devoid of anything with Menthol...
Have to do something special to make up for this over-sight on my part..
Figure I'll put the Black Tip up to bat, as it hasn't seen any action in a while...
Inspired by the great shaves Bills been getting with his Derbys, I thought I'd go with one (although no Vert's so I'll have to substitute a Horizontal).
The Super Speed/Derby Extra was such a winning combo in the past...
Well the Black-Tip and Derb' knocked 3 passes out the park for a huge victory today!! I'm Sliding, Gliding, razor buffing WTG and ATG...just effortless and totally fun...To quote a classic :"5 Blade, Off The Hook, Chest Thumping, Cage Rattling, Ladder Climbing, Barrel Throwing, Foot Stomping, Inter-Galactic..." :happy108 Can't wipe this smile off my face...

5 blades again on 3+ passes. The Lord blade does well in my EJ. First "major" menthol freeze for a good while. Felt good!

Unfortunately I skipped the menthol monday, I used the TBS as it gives me the best protection out of all the creams I have and will keep using it for a while to improve my technique.

Guys, honestly, this Tibet Forest Fresh cream is a menthol lover's dream come true. The cooling effect becomes stronger and stronger as it stays on your face. The Osage Rub is almost as strong as Alcolado Glacial.

 

Rolls razor/Tet-aTet SC/Turkish Horsehair Brush/Masters AS/Tet-a-Tet Balm/Head Lube glossy​

Impressed again by the Rolls razor,a 2 pass head and face shave giving BBS results. This Tet-a-Tet delivers a Killer creamy lather and a refreshing balm. Today was a good day.

The shave feels marginal at best after a weekend with a DE and a feather. No irritation and no cuts, just not particularly close.

 

I agree. Tet-a-tet is awesome stuff. It lathers like a maniac, and the cooling effect is nice, especially from the aftershave balsam.

Squeezed the final bit of cream out of a tube of C.O.Bigelow/Proraso I started in July, 2010. Not only served me well for morning shaves, but samples from this tube have made it to far reaches of the globe..shared with TSD members..
