A friend of mine - only a partial convert, I've got him on brush and cream but no DE yet - recently told me he'd been doing cold water rinses like me, but going a step further and running the razor under cold water too. He says he likes how the cold metal feels on his face (even though it's a proglide). So the past few days I've been trying it, and I actually really like it too - especially that it's actual metal. It's extremely refreshing. So I guess I'm one step closer to a full blown cold water shaver. My poor scuttle.

Also, did MUCH better with the SE today, I feel like I got a pretty good handle on it. Almost as close as a DE shave (and actually a little better on the neck, albeit minor irritation). Something about the way the head feels that I like...almost like it's mowing rather than cutting. Feels like it has...horsepower.

I'll take a conservative 3/5 for today.

Boy did I ever enjoy it! I applied the pre-shave before each pass, and it was the smoothest shave I have had with a Feather SE.

3rd Shave with the Lijun &1980 Finest and it seems to have got better with every shave. The tips seems to have soften and didn't feel it being scratchy today.

I'm really lovin' 'the fat'! No problems whippin' up a creamy lather and my skin feels great. It was a mistake to sell my previous puck, it's great to have it back in my den. It's a shame I under-estimated this killer soap.
