Tell us all about the scents you enjoy.

Basic stuff, like drying laundry, cinnamon, roses, that morning dewy grass scent, that burst off the zest when you are peeling an orange.

Those are some I really enjoy.

    What about you?

cinnamon buns, bread baking in the oven, orange trees in full bloom, freshly cut lawn, leaves burning in the fall, shoe polish. What a thought provoking request, for me anyhow.

    I forgot coffee!

And a good smelling cigar or pipe that you'll catch on the air when you're out and about. I think it must be a cherry tobacco or something, but don't know.

I'm looking forward to getting back on land and home. The smell of spring should be in the air. The smell of everything greening up and the early flowers blosoming in my garden. I also like the smell of pine and cedar burning in my chimenia.

Ooohhh....yeah, certain types of wood burning is nice. Some others not so much.

Fresh rosemary also. I planted some rosemary a couple summers ago, and I'll never buy or use the dried store-bought stuff again.

The warm summer breeze blowing out of the meadows on a July day in Southeast Alaska. The cedars open up, and "perfume" the forest beautifully. Intoxicating.

The smell of the air just before a particularly intense Summer rain deluge. You know, when it "smells" like rain, and you can see the dark clouds rolling in... almost anxious to downpour?

Or just after a long night of steady, quiet drizzle when you first go outside, before the birds are chirping.

The area around "last night's" campfire in late Autumn.

The golf course on a brisk Summer early morning.

Whatever perfume my first crush wore in 6th grade. ;)

The smell of my Grandmother's house when I first walked in, (we would visit a couple times a year... she lived a few states away) growing up. Because I knew it would be a week of slow times, amazing food and family. I have no idea what the smell actually is, other than I would recognize it immediately if I could go back in time.

I think my scent preferences are closely tied to the seasons... weird.

Oh wait... you said "basic stuff." Lol. Disregard this post. :ashamed001

The mingled scents of balsam, wild roses and ocean along the Maine coast.

    Guess that's not very basic...

fresh ground coffee, a wood shop, any kind of bread or cookie just out of the oven

Orange blossom, anise, peppermint, that bay rum clove, new car, fresh baked peanut butter cookies, any recipe with garlic, and one of my absolute favorites baby powder. I use baby powder after my evening shower and there is no fresher scent.

    I sail.

There's something about the air on the water while sailing (no diesel fumes). Close my eyes, take a deep breath and I relax, Heaven! Closest I've ever found is TOBS St.James

    Freshly ground and brewed coffee

A woodshop - most of all when working with Oak, Cedar, or Redwood

Malt Vinegar - I don't think I'd want to smell like it though

Tyme - in terms of fragrance, my absolute favorite spice

Peppermint - fresh leaves, peppermint tea, gum, aftershave, it's all good!
