    JHL Cologne

There's no question about it--Pinaud Bay Rum as an aftershave burns like a son-of-a-gun, but then it feels real nice and cool. I'm going to try to arrange to get some more Rapiras, because I really love them. ;) :D

    Speick aftershave

This was my 2nd shave with the krona and speick stuff. I picked up the Krona because everyone said if you love the Super Speed you will more than likely love the Krona too and this holds true for me. What a great razor and with a feather blade wow its a great shave.

Did a quick shave with face lather and it was a good shave but not quite great. I really enjoyed the Krona just got spoiled by klar so moving to the speick seems a little off but it makes sense for the price difference.

Cheers. I'm glad you got a good shave from the little guy. I think it's 9/16" with a 2.5" blade. It's the baby brother version of the big one you got in the lot of blades you picked up.

    Burham 1909 single edge/Pella blade/Williams Mug soap/Turkish Horsehair #7/ Ogallala

This Burham delivered a DFS today. Of coarse it benefited from Old school lather whipped by a horsehair brush. Then Finished with an old school scent. A shave to be savored.

    Great shaves today, Gentlemen.

Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
    Razor: Merkur Progress XL
    Blade: Lord Platinum Class
    Brush: EJ Best Badger
Cream: Portman Square "Collier Row" Cream Soap
A/S: Thayer's Lemon Witch Hazel, Taylor's No. 74 Victorian Lime Splash

Great citrus shave this morning--I love the "face feel" I get when I use the Portman Square cream/soap. The No. 74 Victorian Lime Splash resulted in a fine finish on this rainy morning.

    Razor: Wilkinson Sticky
    Blade: Gillette Swede
    Brush: H.L. Thater
    Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
    Soap: C & S Oxford and Cambridge
    A/S: TOBS Mr. Taylor

An absolutely wonderful shave this afternoon. I received the Czech and Speake soap in a trade and wasted no time in trying it out. This stuff is fantastic! It seems very similar to AOS soap but with a much better scent. The Wilkinson Sticky teamed with the Gillette Swede did an outstanding job and left my face BBS. Mr. Taylor, as always, was a great way to finish.
