Awesomeness! Your case from the group buy actually got to you 2 days early. That means the rest should be to me tomorrow or Wednesday since I see they are in Memphis right now which is about 3 hours North of me.

Voskhod Blades Available via NON- GROUP BUY

I bought my first 100 Voskhod blades from Razor Blades and More. After I realized how good they were, I decided to buy another 100 just to have in stock!

Well they were sold out....probably in part to discussions on here. Anyway, I requested to be notified by email when they were back in stock. I just received an email and wanted to share it with those that didn't get in on this group buy and doesn't want to wait till the next one.

Blades were $19.99 when I ordered mine, but now they're $14.99! Sooo that's a good deal for anyone that has been wanting to try them.

They said there was limited stock, so don't wait too long if you want some!

Sorry about that JoAnna! I thought the box you were ordering was for you. Didn't know you were ordering them to sell. If that was mentioned in the thread, I missed it. I knew there was a lot of people that were chomping at the bit to get some.

I guess my memory may be faulty. I thought when he set his price it was the same as the ebay sellers who eventually stopped selling them. I thought he lowered his price shortly after others stopped selling them and shortly before the group buy got established and then he ran out of blades.

 

I paid $19.99 when I got mine and I didn't think it was too bad of a price. Heck I'd been used to paying almost $3 a blade for Mach3 Turbos! Which is why I started using the DE.

20 cents a blade is not as good as the 10 cents we paid on the group purchase, but Jody put in a LOT of work for FREE! If suppliers couldn't make a little profit, then we wouldn't have all the options that we enjoy now.

To be fair, we as a group do not know what David paid for the blade stock that he sells. If he bought direct from the factory then yeah, that might be considered price gouging. However, if David bought his stock from a distributor who had already marked the blades up for a profit, and then he too marked them up for a profit, then that is the reality of wholesale vs. retail in the USA.

At the end of the day, this group buy, made possible by Jody allowed this forum to buy a fantastic blade at a fantastic price while cutting out massive layers of middle-people!

 

Yup. Prices are different all over the places because of many factors. Im just happy to be getting these great blades for 10 bucks . Good deal for any blades but these bad boys. :happy108

 

Well this is interesting. The USPS tracking shows the blades left Memphis, TN at 2:43 in the morning this past Monday. Also shows it's supposed to be delivered to me tomorrow. But the status hasn't updated since Monday/Memphis, which is only about 3 hours away from me but getting close to almost 72 hours/3 days since it left Memphis.... >crosses fingers delivery actually happens tomorrow<

I think the USPS takes a lot longer to update tracking info than UPS.

 

Well unfortunately my mail man has came and gone today and no Voskhod blades. Here's hoping for tomorrow...

Not impressed with Mr. Mailman.

 

Mail man just came and nope, no Voskhod blades. Tracking still stuck on Memphis and hasn't been updated since Monday. I called USPS yesterday. They told me that's not a tracking number it's a delivery confirmation number and that it doesn't always get scanned, just as long as it's scanned when the package is delivered... so gee, thanks USPS. You were no help. I have a feeling it's sitting at the sorting facility here in my town. Well.. maybe tomorrow. If not tomorrow, maybe Monday. Maybe... maybe...
