Spent $20 today & got 3 large tubes of Proraso. Bath & Body Works in the mall is selling them: Buy 2, get one free. For you amazon hounds (like me..lol) this is an awesome deal if your local mall has this store! They carry a ton of Bigelow products! Just thought I'd spread the wealth!
I used to use that stuff alot, and never got a deal like that. Don't know why I grew tired of it, but I just don't use it anymore.
They always have deals. it is wonderful. I never buy anything from there for full price. My gf loves the body butters, sometimes its 20% or something off everything in the bag. Other times buy 2 get one free or buy 3 get 2 free or something.
I used that deal a couple months ago, only I got 2 and some perfume for the little lady. I barely use it, though its good, so those two tube should last me quite some time!
Not sure if the web inventory reflects what the local stores stock, but B&BW's website says sold out on Proraso..
I'm not sure about their website, I walked into the store here at our local mall. They had a ton of it. They had mentha bar soap, they had tons of large & small tubes of proraso, bigelow colognes, you name it. They didn't have the soap variety of proraso, just the green & that was it for their shaving cream as far as proraso was concerned.
The buy 2 get 1 free is *always* active at B&BW. If you have a smart phone and install the Foursquare app, and "check-in" at the B&BW, you can buy 3 and get 2 free.
Don't have a smart phone, lol........but it's alright, I have enough cream, soap, & blades to last til doomsday! LOL!
I did the buy 2 get 1 free deal 2 years ago, I wound giving my last tube away because Bigelow/Proraso likes to solidify and get hard for whatever reason even in an un-open tube over time. I just buy the small tubes now because I'm pretty my much Bigelow'ed out, but its nice to go back and use every once and awhile. Mike regarding the online stock, it sells out often but all 3 stores in my area have plenty.
I think it was around 6-7 months. The whole tube doesn't solidify, just small chunks. The lather is the same, but you would have to palm lather it first if you're a face latherer.
hmmmm... I've had my tube well over a year, use it about once a month in the rotation. No problems at all.
