The Czech & Speake soap, reportedly made by Valobra, is an excellent tallow soap with an odd but pleasant scent (definitely lavender but with other scents mixed in). In any case, I enjoyed an excellent shave followed by a splash of Royall Bay Rum.

  Today was touch-up Day. Really should have Skipped Shaving Today. Had some weepers! Should have only made 1 pass, no had to go or 2, and I paid for it. But I am glad to be involved with Superspeed Week . A little suffering never hurt anybody! Generally the rewards turn out good on the other side of it!::lam

 

58 TV Super-speed/Voskhod blade/Wee Scot/Florena SC/Skin Bracer ​

The SS Love fest continues. The wee scot held just enough lather for 2 passes and a touch up. The rich creamy Florena added luxury to this very simple shave. And well, the Vintage Skin Bracer hasn't lost a step. The perfect end to a fine shave.

Putting Red Line above TSD balm was an overkill, I must confess. The Red Line cream is oily and slick, but don't want to work with balm. Note to myself- use Eveline gel with Red Line cream or wash out the balm before lathering.

Round 2 with the OCMM yielded much better results then the maiden voyage. No weepers, next to no irritation (neither the alum nor the superior 70 burnt at all), and a DFS. If I can achieve these results on a regular basis, I will seriously consider adding the OCMM to my rotation.
