It hasn't taken me long to start getting the hang of the OCMM.

I was rewarded with another fantastic shave this evening.

I think I might be developing into an SE (or at least an OCMM) fanboy.

I'm glad I got to give it a try.

Awesome Dale! Still, give it a few more days even and they will be nicer yet. I just noticed that even though they were really smooth, my face never recovered completely in between shaves; a bit too harsh. I'm glad you are enjoying it though.

    SS Week: day 3
    • Flare tip SS
    • Voshkod (?)
    • Omega pro 48

    • Barbasol Pacific Rush

Another good shave today. I must admit though, that my go to razor has got to be my EJ 89. The superspeeds are working but the EJ is prime in my book and the time off is making the heart grow fonder.

3 out of 5 blades for today.

No shave today. Red Tip w/Pal blade yesterday and at 6:30 pm next day I've got too little stubble to worry about.

I used my 1965 Gillette slim set at 3 for a nice 2 pass shave

Colgate soap with 4 drops of M bomb

TSD Bourbon Vanilla aftershave milk (yummy)

I then added just a tad of nivea cool kick aftershave splash to my neck.

Second shave with my new super speed. For some reason yesterday I used an Astra SP blade, even though those blades always feel harsh to me. Sure enough, I got a harsh shave. Today I used a new Voshkod, which gave me a much smoother shave!

The Love fest continues. The gentle flair tip was just what I desperately needed after yesterdays rough shave. The HH#6 and Arko may be third world products, but they deliver a world class shave. Every aspect of the today's shave including my too thin, but very wet and slick lather was savored and enjoyed. It's a great day to be alive.

    Great shaves today, Gentlemen.

Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
    Razor: Merkur 23C
    Blade: Astra Superior Platinum
    Brush: EJ Best Badger
    Soap: Pre de Provence
    A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, 4711 Splash

I always enjoy using the PdP soap. I wish they also sold an aftershave splash with the same scent. I have the PdP balm, but prefer to use that in the winter when the air is very dry. Even without the balm, the PdP soap with its shea butter leaves my face feeling very soft and comfortable. The bottom line today: Great shave!
