Okay how in the world do I shave right under my nose with my Ed.Jagger89L? I've tried holding my nose up,over, watched videos, read other how too forums... The EJ head is large and just can't figure it out.Any help or tricks would be appreciated
im interested too. i use the same razor & can feel a super thin layer i always miss as close to my nose as possible
I get under my nose without any of the stretching or moving. I just tilt my head up. Then i stretch that skin just by using the muscles in my face. Then just shave as i would starting at the top of my side burns. I then sometimes also go from starting in the middle to the outside. Not just north to south. That seems to clean up any missed whiskers. Hope that can help (at least worth a try). The bonus here is you get to make funny faces
Grow a mustache like mine - pretty similar to the one in my avitar. Seriously, hope you find a technique that works for ya!
Hmmm I remember before I grew the stash, that I would curl my lip down over my teeth as far as I could streching the skin out which would cause those whiskers to flair out far enough to cut going top to bottom.
For me it's all in the razor angle. I have it so that the handle is more parallel to my face then as I go down, I bring it out to more of a 30 degree angle. I do this while using my face muscles to stretch the upper lip. This N to S pass gets almost all of it for me. Then i simply finish up with a sidways pass. I start from the sides of my mouth and go to the middle of my nose. Once both sides are shaved then I go from my nose to the side of my mouth. I find this will catch anything that didn't get shaved. This technique works with all my razors, both DE and SE. I hope it helps!
I've tried all the funny faces and had no luck, never tried S to N though.I have no problem with my new Futur which I have been using since I got it.agelic13
Try getting under your nostrils on an angle... not quite XTG. Get the corner of your razor up in your nostril a bit.
Carefully shave with the grain, across and then against the grain. At times you might have to push your nose out of the way. Carefully and slowly.
Agreed! Since I head shave, a stache and a goatee is needed to keep things from being too much like a cue ball. Hope you can get this to work.
