Just one this on the bay and got notice it shipped today (FAST!). Can anyone tell by the pics the scale material and if they look savable? I know W&B is a good shaver but does it look like I did ok at under $35.00?
I have seen razors in far worse shape than that one be saved. W&B Chopper for under $35.00 is a nice price. I cannot tell you about the scales, although I have a similar razor with similar scales. Ask Gssixgun / Glen if he will restore it for you.
Thanks Jeff, both for the "appraisal" and suggestion. Glen does fantastic work. Was your similar razor also a restore? Did the scales polish up nicely?
I did not have mine restored, just honed. Mine has too much devil spit in the steel to restore affordably. My scales are quite ghastly too.
Scales are blonde horn and yes they looked to be in pretty good shape. It should shape up to be a great shaver! Good pic up
