Lloyd's push for the SS Love Week inspired me. I remember a while back there used to be a monthly theme week. It would start on the first full week of the month. I would like to propose bringing the theme week back. In the past several options for the week were voted on, highest vote-getter being the theme for that week. I would like to start a rotation, if you will, of theme weeks. Ideally there would be twelve themes in the rotation, but not necessary. Once the rotation is set, I'll drop a reminder for the upcoming month's theme week a couple of weeks in advance so everyone who wants to participate will have time to get what they need. Here are some suggestions (again, just suggestions). I solicit more from all of you interested. SS Week Injector Week Open Comb Week Vintage Blade Week Soap Week (to enable encourage cream users to branch out) Cream Week (to enable encourage soap users to branch out) Local Purchase Week - something you've purchased locally TTO Week 3-Piece Week Something New Week - try something you've never tried before SE Week Give Some Love Week - use items that haven't been used in a long time or seldom get used for whatever reason Thoughts? Suggestions?
Sounds like a decent way to keep it fun and interesting. Right now I would be able to participate in about half of them. How about adding an SE week?
Could also add different type of brush week? Having a boar, badger, horse hair brush can be a bit expensive so could even just be a give love to some unloved gear you have week . Good idea, I know i wont participate in many of them... not enough goodies . Well mostly the different types of razors .
Sounds like a lot of fun, Steve. I, like Regan, would only be able to participate in about half of them, but that's alright by me. I would look forward to those weeks I could take part in.

Keep the ideas comin'! I'll let this go for a while, then set up a 12 month rotation. If something has already been mentioned and you like the idea, mention it again. That will let me know there's a definite interested in that theme.

Similar to that idea, second chance week. Pick up those razors, blades, soaps, brushes or whatever that just didn't work for you, but which you didn't want to throw out, and never got around to selling or PIFing. Pretend that it's all you've got, and you have a choice between making them work, or just being miserable. See if you can get good results after all.
