Fast 2 passes shave-and-run this morning.

Vintage slant/Derby (thanks, Jeff, for that sample pack!)
    Eveline shave gel
    Mayor Energy Platinum splash

Brushless gel works fine, both gel and splash are mentholized so a very refreshing this Monday! Let's see if I grow any stubble for evening Menthol Monday...

rodd, nice razor. How do you like the larger handle. I'm thinking about buying one like that, only with the faux ivory handle.

    Menthol Monday 15 August

    Starbucks Italian Roast Black
    Omega Boar 10015, face lather
    Gillette Slim (7) w/ Lord Platinum (D1)
    Mama Bear's Lime Ice Soap
    Osage rub-Proraso ASB

A very nice three pass have with one touch-up. At least a DFS, a couple spots still elude me on the jawline and the neck, but I am getting better. My neck is a bit tender from yesterday's shave, I guess the feather blade from yesterday did not agree with my setup or technique.

    Menthol Monday:

    Omega Wooden Handle
    Super Speed/Personna day 3
    Italian Palmolive Menthol SC :love055::love055::Animatedfrozensmily::Animatedfrozensmily:
    Keri unscented moisturizer
    Osage Rub AS :love055::love055::Animatedfrozensmily::Animatedfrozensmily:
    Floris Santal EDT

I feel a bit sad because I finally finished off this Palmolive Menthol tube, but I still have 1 more unstarted one, as well as 2 tubes of the identical eastern European Palmolive Cool cream. The only thing is, the Italian Palmolive Menthol cream tube is 100 ml, and the tubes from eastern Europe are only 65 ml, and I hate to ration my menthol. Today's shave was such a pleasure. ;)

3 Passes = DFS ++! This would have been BBS if I had shaved East to West instead of West to East along the jawline. I will take it though!

    Have a great week Ya'll!

Nice looking shaves you guys. I think some of these pics might have convinced me to switch to bowl lathering for awhile :).

    I used...

    Gillette Slim 65 (7)
    Platnium Lux (3)
    Vulfix 404
    JM Fraser's Mosswood (great cream)
Boosters Bay Rum (not a big fan of this scent)

    Razor: Wilkinson Sticky
    Blade: Super Iridium
    Brush: Simpson Douglas
    Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
    Soap: Yardley Black Label
    A/S: Trumper Marlborough

The "mourning" theme of today's shave represents shave items that are no longer being produced and whose loss I am mourning. All but the Glyce Lime soap qualifies. My limited edition Douglas brush ginned up creamy lather from the Yardley Black Label soap and the Wilkinson Sticky with a fresh Iridium blade did a fine job. A splash of the discontinued Trumper Marlborough aftershave (they still make a Marlborough cologne) and I am on my way.

    Soap: Arko Shave Stick
    Brush: Omega 10029
Razor: 1952 Black Tip Super Speed with the steel handle.
    Blade: Astra SP (Day1)

I haven't had time to post here lately...So for most of this pass month I've been getting daily DFS's with my Schick I2, armed with rebranded Personnas...I grew a WHITE Moustace and Goatee, but shaved it off yesterday...Today was the first time in about a month that I've used the Black Tip Beauty and it came through with flying colors..Also today I smashed a shave stick into a cup and whipped up my lather there and applied to my face for the first time in years...And I've never bowl lathered an Arko Stick..I LOVED IT!!! I'll be mainly bowl lathering from now on I believe...Thickest lather I've ever seen LoL...Razor was gliding and sliding...Like a Tradition Wet Shaving Dream...:)
