    • Uberlather: EJ soap puck/KissMyFace squirt
    • Brush: Commodore X3
    • Scuttle: Yes, R.Becker Medium
    • Razor: 62' Gillette Slim Adjusable (6)
    • Blade: Voshkod Teflon Coated (2)
    • Aftershave: Aloe,Witchhazel Gel/ Moisturizing Balm unscented
    • Cologne: Tuscan Cypress
Shave started out great. Those blades cut right through the whiskers. Very Sharp Blades. Maybe too sharp for me. No irrittion, but I looked at my face and it did not LOOK smooth! Opened up the convertible a little more. I believe these blades are not for me. Some one else fine, me , no! I'm going back to the Rapira Platinum Lux's. Seems I always get good BBS shaves out of a blade that's Platinum. Glad I did not buy 100 of them. Have a Great Week!

Thanks! I don't mind the larger handle. It does change the balance a bit, but it is a nice razor. Just takes a little getting used to, but it can work to your advantage, and it is comfortable to hold.
It was a standard imitation horn handle, but it broke, so I turned a new one out of cocobolo.

    Tues 16 August

No coffee during the shave, not a good hotel
    Proraso pre-shave balm
Lord Tech w/ Lord Platinum (D1)
    Omega travel brush-face lather
    Palmolive Stick
    AG-Proraso ASB

I think the feather blade I used over the weekend roughed my face a bit, so Iwent with a very safe shave this morning. The lord tech has been working very well as my travel razor and it seems to work best with the Lord Platinums or Astra SP's. The palmolive stick really came through for me this morning, my face feels great. A three pass, no touch up DFS.
A great way to start the day.

    Omega Wooden Handle
    Super Speed/Personna day 4

    Keri unscented moisturizer
Floid Classic AS :love055::love055::smiley freezing::smiley freezing:

A 3 pass shave filled with great menthol delight from the Egyptian Ingram cream. I would have liked the do a 4th pass, but after the 3rd one, I felt like I was practically BBS, so I stopped. The Floid aftershave is so cooling and nice - I definitely love it. ;)

Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
    Razor: Jaggerooney
    Blade: Voskhod Teflon Coated
    Brush: Simpson Colonel X2L
Cream: Portman Square "Notting Hill" Cream/Soap
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Pashana Splash

My first use of a Voskhod blade, received in a sample pack. The shave was excellent and, if that continues for 4 or 5 shaves, Voskhod will join the ranks of my favorite blades. The Pashana splash, underused by me, provided a fine finish.

    Today after a shower:

    Frank Shaving Finest
    Palmolive stick
Apollo OC with Swedish Gillette (gift from moviemaniac)
    Alcream ASB

I'm sure it's not moviemaniac's fault. After some weeks with the KAI Captain I can't get as good results with the Apollo as with the Captain.

    Tuesday:

Prep: Shower then Proraso Preshave (White)
    Razor: Valet
    Blade: Feather
    Brush: Penworks Finest
    Soap: EJ Sea Buckthorn
    AS: Clinique Post shave soother

I LOVE this soap. it lathers so well and the scent is amazing. The Feather blade was a bit too much for my skin this morning, as I have a very raw feeling. The upside is that I won't need to shave tomorrow as the razor/blade combo is so effective.
