After visiting the doctor, I feel 1000 times better then I did before I went. No hard data as of yet, but he told me it exhibited none of the classical signs of being anything harmful. Bloodwork and needle biopsy results should be back towards the end of the week or beginning of next week.

Huh.. it looks like I am back to waiting 5 minutes for a page to load. How odd, I didn't have that issue until the power outage at the server.

So, woke up this morning to a stinky apartment with doggy mess to deal with. I have a patch of ingrown hairs on my neck. First patch in three years. I must have done something bad yesterday when shaving. Guess I won't be shaving today. Went to eat lunch with wife and go with daughter to get a 5 bladed monstrosity for her to use (bleh). Then came home to find a letter from the US District Court attached to my door. Talk about an instead heart pounding anxiety causing discovery. Looks like wife has Jury Duty.

 

I'm going to double post this, for the folks that don't go to the Android thread....

Right now Target (and supposedly Best Buy) is selling the Acer Iconia Tab for $399, and you get a $100 gift card...so, effectively making the tablet $299 if you spend the gift card on things you'd normally buy anyway.

Anyone need to buy a spleen? Only $399!

I just got an e-mail from tiger direct within 30 seconds of reading your post. Tiger Direct is doing the same thing. But their sale price is $449 and had 32 GB of internal memory instead of the 16GB at Target.

Any of you ever had a package go to the dead mail / mail recovery center? I had a $150 package get stuck in Jersey for a week, then show up as dead mail on the delivery confirmation page. Reading around online since the Post Office is closed. What I am reading is not so reassuring.

 

can't sleep. thing 2 (a.k.a. my daughter) had a bad dream and woke us all up. that was two hours ago. thank goodness my job has flexible hours.

I just got an email that made my day. The finally posted some of my database online . WOOHHOOOO something useful now from my last 3 months work on this one project . It feels great to see it come together
