Although this English soap is very low-priced, it is so good. It has so much going for it erbl2.jpg - for example:

Ease of lathering: 10/10--Fantastic and rich lather in no time.

Longevity of lather: 10/10--Lasts forever if you want!

General skincare: 9/10--Glycerine-based, and very moisturizing. Comfortable feeling during and after a shave.

Scent: 10/10--Here is what is so beautiful, the scent is so barbershoppy and traditional. Soapy and citrusy.

Price: 10/10--So much cheaper than any of the 3 T's, or DR Harris. (and so terrific!)

Would I buy again: 10/10--You better believe it - this soap is a top-favorite of mine!

With much respect to everyone who is a fan of the 3 T's soaps, or DR Harris, or anything else which is on the pricey side, I think this soap is so much good value, and so much more of top-quality. Erasmic is an OLD, and I mean OLD English soap brand, which has been by the "working-class", as well as low budget wetshavers in the UK. You get a great and honest performing soap, which smells lovely, lathers so well, and gives great post-shave care.

This is next on my hit list. I just need to slowdown on my AD a bit. I have the shave cream and love it. I know a lot of people are disappointed that its now made in Jordan but don't let that stop you from buying the SC too. Its very economical and lathers up like a champ.

I haven't used the soap, but I had the cream for a while - I actually wasn't a huge fan of it. Lathering was never a problem I always got lots of nice thick stuff, and you can't complain about the price, but for some reason I felt like it didn't offer very good protection during the shave, and I would always wind up with more irritation than if I was using something else...but again, this was the cream I haven't tried the soap. Just my .02

As far as I know the soap is made in the UK, and the cream is made in Jordan. I wouldn't care if this stuff was made on the moon because it's so good.

I haven't tried the soap but the cream is one of my go-to items. It's a good balance of comfy and moisture that works really well for my legs. LOVE it!

Bang on there jeff just checked and its only £2.00 or less online here in the uk, with the cream slightly cheaper, i may get later in the year as i have sooooooooo many shave creams and soaps at the moment, but if I can manage to sneek some in the house without the girlfriend seeing then I'll try it sooner.

When i saw it i said to my self: "Oh my God another Wilkinson? "
After the first smell i calm down a little bit,was not bad
I was terrified from the Wilkinson, same color same style plastic box
When i start lathering i saw that they are completely different
This soap is very good, with other box and a little bit "unique" aroma will be at the top of the soaps.

Yep, wonderful stuff. And the stick is even better as it's back to the tallow formulation. (The puck does not have, and never did have, tallow).
