    Sunday's Shave

    Prep: Hot Shower
    Coffee: Mehmet Effendi Turkish Coffee
Soap: Arko Shave Stick/Arko Adventure SC-bowl lathered
    Brush: Omega 10029
    Razor: 1955-58 Schick Hydro-Magic
    Blade: EMS/Personna (Day3)
Post: Ice Cold Water Splash, Arko Nem moisturizer, Rebul Lavanda Colonia
    Scent: Guerlain Habit Rouge EdT

Today's shave was one of those, "Best of my life type"...on a scale of 1 to 10 it would have to get a 15...
Aside from everything coming together for a great shave...I think the amount of time between shower and shave is an important factor...Today after my shower, I towel dried my hair, held a hot wet washcloth on my whiskers and immediately shaved...Whiskers still saturated from shower...Blade/Razor combo Heaven sent...Shave grandiose...:)

    Tet-a-tet AS Balsam :love055::love055::smiley freezing::smiley freezing:
    Monsieur Givenchy EDT

The Tet-a-tet cream and aftershave balsam felt so cool and nice on my skin this morning. The cream's menthol was very light at first, but by the time I was doing my 3rd and final pass it was quite noticeable. The balsam felt icy as soon as it went on my face and neck. What a wonderful shave. ;)

    Razor: Jaggerooney
    Blade: Voskhod Teflon Coated
    Brush: Simpson Colonel X2L
    Soap: Valobra
A/S: Thayer's Lemon Witch Hazel, Alt Innsbruck Splash

An excellent shave this morning, smooth and comfortable. Using Valobra seems to always result in a nice shave. The Thayer's WH and the Alt Innsbruck left my face feeling great.

    You're correct Steve-o, I don't see a thing :p

Even though none of us believe you have one of these (;)), I agree 100% with you, unfortunately though, it is just acceptable. I've had good acceptable shaves but don't recall ever getting anything intergalactic or worthy of banging a gong over out of one. Not bad, just nothing worth selling all your other gear over.

    Sunday:

    Milord
    Penworks 24mm Finest
    Personna RI
    C&E Sandlewood Soap
    C&E Sandlewood ASB

It was a good shave. When I put on the balm it was a sandlewood overload! The soap and balm have a nice scent, but my face still dried a bit too much from the soap for my liking. All in all it was good.

This is Beecham era Williams. It has no smell other than a slight soapy smell. This Williams required zero effort to lather. I am one of those folks that have found Williams to be hit or miss on lathering, but this puck presented no problems. I don't know if it is due to the aging of the puck, or if my lathering skills are better now. I am going to grab a puck from the store today and let it sit out for awhile and see if the skeeter be gone scent fades over time and also to see if it lathers the same as this Beecham puck once I use it all up.

    Have a great week Ya'll!
