I think that staying active may need to be determined against equipment that is not conducive to higher speeds and / or balance issues.
I hope your wife feels better.

seems I've missed quite a bit of drama and/or other stuff this weekend.
kids feeling a bit better, my headache has mostly gone, now just the stress of work stuff I didn't get done Friday, and wasn't able to remote in to work on yesterday, so just hoping against hope that I'm able to get it all done today.

Micah, hate you're going through everything you are, if you want, you can come over and I can kick you til you feel better...in all seriousness, this oughtta at least make you smile - you and Doug done got me hooked on Phineas and Ferb. And there's no platypus controlling me....

Erik, hope the wife recovers quickly, and that this incident doesn't discourage further endeavors of staying active.

Anger management - only thing that works for me is....well carp, I still haven't found it, yet, actually. There are circumstances where I have to maintain composure, outwardly, but inwardly I'm ready to slap the he11 out of a rabid bull.

Went to a few carboot sales this morning no shaving stuff worth getting, then went to my mums 25 mile drive, fixed her garden bench took her shopping and then painted the front gate and garage window, what gets me angry is my brother called round to my mums to say hello, he only lives 1.1miles away and dont work yet he never does any jobs for my mum or takes her shopping:angry019: (she is 75 by the way) any way im home now more relaxed with a ameretto and coke.

The wife says she feels just as bad this morning, but I can see she's moving just a little better. Looks like it's just a matter of going through a few weeks of recovery at this point. Hopefully she's doing well enough after a few days to drive around since I'll be out of town later in the week.

Cheers for that it does piss me off, as he is the older one, we where both adopted at birth from different familys, but since our dad died about 6 years ago he has found his real mum and seems to spend more time there. (my girlfriend helped with all today she's a good one)

I've been busy trying to wear out both my TurnTable's stylus and my computer's keyboard as I crunch out papers for school at a dizzying pace. It's been a little rushed, but I can't say that didn't have a good day. I guess having a bottle of Talisker on hand to sip on while I write didn't hurt either, teeheeheehee

What are your plans this week?

I'll be working from home tomorrow so I can also drive my wife to her chiropractor at some point. Well she's healing from the Rollerblade accident this weekend, it looks like it will take a day or two before she can drive. I really hope she'd better mid-week because I'll be away for a couple days late in the week.

Wishing everyone a week of healing, peaceful thoughts, and rest from the weariness I know many are going through.

The clock flipped an hour and 45 ago, so technically my day's just starting, hehe... i'll finish listening to side 2 of this queen album and hit the hay for the night... then i'll wake up and clean my room, and do some laundry, and replace the oil and sparkplugs in my truck... by that time it should be lunch time... and the rest of my day off will be for listening to records, and reading... and possibly a game or two on the PS3 ^_^
It'll be the first day since 2005 that i'm not taking any college classes...

    you're ooooold :p

I know, JoAnna reminds me of that fact often enough! :(

Old enough to remember when vinyl and 8 tracks were the choice of medium.

Vinyl is still the choice of medium... yannow... for those who delight in spending more in stereo equipment than they have in their car... which i've done =^_^=

Which reminds me... I need a new Turntable... and about 8 more vacuum tubes... and a new DAC... after that i can start thinking about what to upgrade next :p

Is ready for school to begin. Well, I am not exactly ready, but at least I am shaven, dressed, fed, have the dog walked, and am enjoying my first mug of coffee. But nothing would make me ready for sitting in the auditorium listening to the superintendent for 6 hours straight.
