    And so it has begun! Didn't even make it to my door before the cries of "Copier Down!" began, followed by inquiries about "the computer situation."

    For the last 40 minutes I've been working up a sweat.

    A sweat!

    Didn't I go to college so I wouldn't have to sweat before 10:00 AM?

    Seriously though, I'm going to need stronger prayers/meds/weapons. I sense a rousing game of time splitters in my near future.

    oh yeah. dropped the munchkins off at school this morning. mom (a.k.a. the wife) was visibly relieved. she's had the kids to herself for the past two weeks.

    if you enjoy stress reduction via video games, then may I recommend the Grand Theft Auto series? Very much not for children, and shouldn't be played where they can view it, but functions as a wonderful stress reduction exercise for adults. Playing GTA has gotten me through several stressful crunches in the past.

    Seriously, you have my prayers. Hang in there and don't give up. It will get better.

    I sense a disturbance in the force...something is terribly, terribly wrong.
    The unimaginable horrors that await, I'm not sure I can handle.

    What is this thing that has me so worried? I've been able to: get to work, walk to my office, turn on the computer, get started on my day, working on stuff I need to work on, and so far - uninterrupted....this is NOT a good sign, folks. Anytime the first day starts off smooth, is a bad sign.
    It's supposed to start off with problems, ranging from the "oh look, the cable's not plugged in" to "nothing is working, there's a phantom loopback somewhere that's going to take me several hours to find", to the "there's a virus on everything with electricity in it".....that's normal.
    But silence......I would go home sick, if A) I hadn't already done so Friday, and B) I'm the only tech in the district today.......

    Feeling well enough to not reschedule any patients, but still no joy on passing the stone. So lots more lemon water for me today. 23-month old had a rough night which means the wife had a rough night too. Even though she's feeling ill with morning sickness she tries not to get me up at night when I have to work the next day. Love my wife!

    Thinking of taking an evaluation form with me on job assignments:

    "On a scale of 1 to 2, how would you rate my performance?
    1 = Great
    2 = OhMyGoshThat'sTheMostFantasticJobI'veEverSeenDone!!!!!

    Disclaimer: All responses outside the stated parameters will be randomly assigned a "2" or a "2.5""

    And quietly, subtly, the click of a switch, and the soft whirl of an oscillating wind mover was heard, and the sound of what is almost unmistakeably a large sack of manure was dropped nearby, and opened....

    only the 32 GB version shows to be available nearby, for $149...even that is worth it, if it's still there after payday

    Arrived at the fitness center for Water Aerobics olny to discover the gym was still at home. A return trip to the apartment was needed. Ended up being late for class.
    Finally the computer was ready to pick-up HURAH.
    Over all the day has a 7 out 10 day.
