Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
    Razor: Jaggerooney
    Blade: Voskhod Teflon Coated
    Brush: Vie-Long Gonzalo
    Soap/Cream: Proraso White Tub Soap
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Proraso Splash

A very pleasant shave this morning. I'm liking the Voskhod blade a lot, and whenever I use the Proraso Aloe & Green Tea soap in the white tub I have to wonder why I don't use it more often. I guess the answer is that I like all the soaps and creams that I own and I like variety.

Not my best effort today. I don't think I loaded enough soap and as a result, experienced some irritation.

Not terrible, but definitely not all that good either.

Johnny, a tad off topic, but I really dig your photo above. Did you alter that after the shot or did you use a special lens? It has a slight Holga quality. (I'm a pro artist/musician and I dabble in photography as well) Best! -John

Photo was altered in iPhoto on my MAC. Just used the boost color and edge blur feature. No magical talent on my part.

    Sunday:

    Razor: Futur set to 2
    Blade: derby
    Brush: new forest tubby 1
    Cream: bluebeards revenge
    Post: castle Forbes lime balm

A great shave. Normally I don't like Derby blades but then sheer heft of the futur makes them work really well.

Also first try with bluebeards, really nice cream. Great scent and performance.

    BBS shave :)

No, Jeff, it was my morning shave, so I squeezed a last shave form Derby and retired the blade. But today is Sunday and I'm back to straights!
