One of my better shaves with the '58 SS. Just might be the blade. The Topaz was a PIF from Jeff. Seems to be working pretty well.

Not a very good shave this morning. My soap started drying toward the end of the shave. I think it is the hotel water. I'll try to make sure my lather is on point tomorrow and see how that goes. Not good, but not bad bad either.

BBS In Three? Yeah; It Is That Good!

After using the R-41 and then using my other razors while it was on loan to Battle.Munky / Bob, I must say that I now want to throw rocks at the rest of my razors now that the R-41 is back.

I won't say that the R-41 is for everyone, but it is for sure, hands down, the best razor that I have ever used to date. It even beats out the EJ-89.

I find the Voskhod blades to be excellent - in fact they remind me a lot of the Rapiras in some ways. This shave was very smooth, close and comfortable because the Phyto Expert stuff gave me the help that I needed. The cream is lightly mentholated, but the aftershave balsam has a strong cooling effect - I love it. :biggrin:
