I have to tell you this was probably the absolutely worst shave I have had in a long-long time, bar none. It really sucked. For starters, we got up late. We never reset the alarm clock after we lost power. I have no clue how I got up yesterday. So we got up about 45 minutes late. I had never tried the Oriental Spice scent, and it smelled good, but it seemed to burn my face. So like a dolt, I push on. The blade seemed to drag a bit, and it left me with some weepers. I only had time for two passes (thank god), and then gave up. I had three or four weepers, and my face was just irritated. Thank god ro the Alcoloda Glacial, it burned like hell, but the cooling was awesome. Dude, what a train wreck of a morning.

So I dumped the blade, ditched the oriental spice cream. I will probably go back to the basics, probably proraso white.

 

Draggert Mang! I am sure that your problems started when the coffee was bypassed! If you have no time or access to coffee, try Pepsi Max. If neither is available, try a slug of water and a Goody or BC Powder prior to the shave. If no caffeine source is available, flat out skip that shave!

 

That sounds like a good suggestion, wish I listened.

OHH was it ever an early morning! Haven't visited with the Pre De Provence in a while, I had to juke it up a bit with a couple squirts of KMF and the lather was fantastic. Can't wait to see how my legs fared the day this evening, this is my first shave with a different blade in this razor. Hopefully the stubble-free streak will continue.

A nice shower followed by a good shave. The Tamara cream is from Egypt, and very rich in lather with a nice scent, and pretty good skincare. The Booster Iced Lime has no menthol in it, but it's still pretty cooling. Let me show you guys a picture of the Tamara cream. :biggrin:
