    Friday:

    Omega Wooden Handle
    Super Speed/Personna day 3
Proraso Green SC :happy088::love029::smiley freezing::smiley freezing:
    Keri unscented moisturizer
    Osage Rub AS :love029::love029::Animatedfrozensmily::Animatedfrozensmily:
Oscar de la Renta Pour Lui EDT

I got a very nice shave today, although I would have liked to have done 3 passes instead of just 2. My good friend Proraso Green cream lathered me up perfectly, and gave me a hell of a nice cooling effect, and the Osage Rub finished off the freeze. ;)

Coming in at a little under eleven hours since my last shave:

    Merkur Progress @ 2.5
    Voskhod (1)
    Edwin Jagger Best Badger
    AOS Lavender PreShave Oil
    Wilkinson Sword Shave Soap
    Nivea Post Shave Balm
    Pinaud Clubman AS

I didn't have that much to shave off so I figured it'd be a 2 pass or so shave. Didn't want to waste a whole bowl of lather, so I opted for the Wilkinson and a face lather. Although the EJ isn't the most likely candidate for the job it's still new and shiny and I wanted to see how it would do. Should've grabbed the Arko instead. Lather was a little on the thin side (not the Brush's fault though). Other than that, not much to report. 2 pass SAS.

    Razor: D.R. Harris Chatsworth
    Blade: Gillette Dark Blue SuperPlatinum
    Brush: Thater Porter
    Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
    Cream: German Nivea
    A/S: Speick

Temptation got the better of me and I decided to try the German Nivea cream this morning. It produced a very rich and slick lather which resulted in an excellent shave. Very nice indeed!

  11. Friday, September 2nd

    Vail Mountain Nicaraguan coffee
    QCS Woods soap (sample)
unmarked straight razor (an excellent shaver)
    custom brush

The razor is the only one of my grandfather's that was in usable shape. I can see why he took good care of this one.

    Friday Evening Shower and Shave
Start and finish were good, some strange goings on in the middle

    Hot shower...
Face lathered with C.O. Bigelow shave cream and Sabi Badger brush.
Thought I would try this Schick 5 blade razor given to me.

...Now this is the first time I have used one and didnt know what to expect.
What I got was this GOO coming off the razor that reminded me of some long forgotten preserves.
The GOO began to impede the razors progress like a dog running in molasses.
I gave up and began to wipe off the stuff,
I guess it was lubrication from the bar under the blades.
What a mess, it didn't come off easily neither...never again!

I re-lathered with Bigelow and completed the shave with my Schick injector.
    Cold rinse
TSD Sub Zero followed by Brut AS to make my wife smile (she loves Brut)
Good save by the Schick Injector!
