Wow! Germans think of everything! A razor for people who live on the side of a mountian! Your pair seem to be for the same side. Any chance of finding the razors for people living on the other side?
OK, just to add more to the discussion about these slanted razors -- the unusual head design that had me stumped until the good members of this forum encouraged me to try the obvious. Thanks. It seems to be a design that works and was only used on this model razor. Truly Jody & the Waits had the names of these guys correct. On the very bottom of the handles. There's only way to assemble these heads on the handles. I am illustrating the bottom side of the head on the top (from the other razor) so you can see it can not fit together with that side up. The blade fits easily but I was stumped by the 4 convex supports on the head bottom. But it actually works fine. From the end. Voila! Very cool and it works on the mountains or in the valleys. And this novel design is really quite ingenious.
That's a decent amount of curvature, should be pretty smooth. Glad to see it work out, so as Jody said, when are you going to shave with them?!
Same for me. I regularly give an angle to my razor(s) especially to get into concave areas, but to have it built in gives me the willies. I'm extremely curious to read the after action report.
Thanx for posting these very interesting razors! Looking forward to hearing the verdict on the shave.
I've only been wet shaving for about 6 weeks. If I was handed one of those things I think I would have ran back to the store to buy fusion blades. I may even have nightmares about using one of those now. That said, I'd love to see a video of someone using them.
