I thought this quote was interesting. I am going into graduate school, so it applies: "Being a graduate student is like becoming all of the Seven Dwarves. In the beginning you're Dopey and Bashful. In the middle, you are usually sick (Sneezy), tired (Sleepy), and irritable (Grumpy). But at the end, they call you Doc, and then you're Happy."
It doesn't look very ergonomic, but it is a cool pizza cutter.... http://www.thinkgeek.com/interests/moms/dea2/

I am sure that shoelaces will be deemed unsafe for children under 18 to have and you will need 3 forms of photo ID to purchase. They can be considered drug paraphernalia after all.
I've had a good day. I was released from the slave galley early to attend the all slave picnic. I managed to escape 15 minutes prior to my usual relase time. From the picnic, I went to my favorite watering hole for a couple of beers. Got home for a nice dinner with the family and helped bathe the kids. Now, I'm waiting patiently for the kick-off of tonight's game. Go Packers!
got busy and never picked anything up for the game. I guess I will throw together some cereal to snack on. Go pack! Go Brees!
Personally I'll just hold out for the LA Gear Zips... they'll be the cheap knock-offs with reusable zip-ties for laces. Do they even still make L.A. Gear?
The best pair of skids I ever owned was a pair I picked up at the Dollar General store. The brand name was Asahi. They were red, white, and blue. I wore those shoes until they literally fell off my feet. They were near indestructible. I'm super hard on shoes--I never could make a pair of Nikes hold up longer than 2 months--but I had those Asahis for close to 4 years. If I could find them, I'd buy 5 pair. As an adult, I've managed to force my self to make a pair of k-swiss or reeboks (the simplest, white shoe for me please!) hold up for about a year, so I buy 2 pair when I find a shoe I like if at all possible. That way I don't have to go shoe shopping any more than necessary. I'm very picky about the fit.
