iKon Modern Personna Red M&F 1/2 Nanny's Silly Hard Soap French Lavender Barbasol Pacific Rush After 4 days Nanny's Hard shaving soap has been an awesome performer.
I like the lime ice alot. I have used it in the tub and stick form. The smell is great (makes me want to pur a gin and tonic), and its easy to lather. Its not the coldest out there, but its very nice, I usually use it without the pre-shave balm. This was the second soap I purchased, and I really like it.

Tuesday, September 13, 2011 Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime Razor: Jaggerooney Blade: Voskhod Teflon Brush: Vie-Long Gonzalo Soap or Cream: Ogallala Bay Rum, Limes & Peppercorns Soap A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Ogallala Bay Rum, Limes & Peppercorns Splash A fine shave--the Ogallala soap, being glycerine based, has good glide but IMO less cushion than tallow or even veggie soaps. Therefore, I try to take care with my shave, go slowly, and don't make any radical moves (a good practice anyway). The result for me is a very close, but still smooth and comfortable shave. And I love the scent! The Ogallala BR, L & P splash, even when shaken to distribute the oils, usually causes a brief and mild "burn" (which I actually like), but quickly settles down and leaves my face feeling great
Tuesday: Omega Wooden Handle Super Speed/Personna day 2 Brut Sensitive SC Keri unscented moisturizer Brut AS Brut Cologne A great shave again this morning, this time with a very nice cream from Brazil. Brut Sensitive cream has super-rich lather with very soothing skincare, and the unmistakeable scent of Brut. I'm beginning to enjoy the matching aftershave and cologne more and more.
I just took a few whiffs to get a better idea on how to describe it. The best way to describe the scent would be to say, it has a sharp note of orange oil, slightly bitter and much like an actual orange peel that has been zested with the hint of menthol.
Merkur Vision/Perma-Sharp Blade/Vulfix 404/Wilkinson Sword Soap/Mustang AS It's the final voyage with the Sword. It's taken over a year and a half to get through this container of soap in my rotation. At first I wanted to throw it away, but I stayed with it and figured out how to make it lather. It wasn't a bad soap but I doubt I would buy it again. There are just too many other better soaps out there. The Vision delivered as it always does. As one of our departed shave brothers once said. " I'm Catfish Belly smooth" That's the way to describe this shave. Have a great day, Gentlemen. And peace be with you.
Jack Black Beard Lube Rooney Boar Brush TSD Burmese Wood Soap Gillette Bostonian Polsilver Blade TSD Iced Cracklin' Firewood Splash -Burmese Wood and Cracklin' Firewood played nice together. Both fantastic scents.
Tuesday: EJ89L Voskhod Omega Boar 81052 KMF Mint SC Dickenson's Witch Hazel Nivea Sensitive Balm Burberry Brit edt Wow! What a great shave this morning. I haven't used Kiss My Face in over a year and since I used a brush Sunday that I hadn't used in a year either I started to get adventureous with the graveyard of stuff under my sink. Instant lather bomb and the mint still had that light cooling sensation that is just so nice. This product is going into full time rotation.
My Second DE Shave Ever: eBarbershop Almond Soap EBarber matching mug and badger cream brush EJagger DE 89 Hot towel start, cold towel rinse EBC (ebarbershop) Almond Balm Canoe Aftershave switched from a Norco blade to an EBC Gillette Clone and really liked it!
Tuesday, September 13, 2011 Razor: Merkur Futur Blade: Gillette Yellow Brush: Simpson Rover Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime Soap: Woods of Windsor (Veggie Version) A/S: Taylor Mr. Taylor After using the tallow WOW soaps several times I decided to compare it to the veggie version of WOW. The scent of the veggie version is actually better (newer?) and the lather was decent although not as creamy and rich as the tallow version. That said, I enjoyed a great shave followed by a splash of Mr. Taylor.
No pic today. GEM Damaskeene w/ GEM SS ptfe blade (3rd shave on it) Provence Sante Simpson Special Best badger Face lather (always) post shave: handcrafted menthol AS (I haven't named it yet-probable name: Kramperts Finest Arctic Blast) Another fantastic shave from a fantastic razor of yesteryear.

Wow, what a week already. Late Sunday had to make an emergency run to Savannah. The wife had sat down on the couch and the laptop flipped over popped her in the mouth and broke her tooth (glad that there is no permanent damage, and no exposed nerve). Thankful to have a BIL who is a dentist, and an incredible one at that! He was able to see us on Monday, so we made a quick run down there on Sunday night after work. Monday's travel shave: Gillette customer painted slim Voskhod Tweezerman Palmolive Shave Stick Aqua Velva Tuesday: As painful as it sounds, I am skipping today. Going for my first shave with a slant tomorrow.
