    Gem Push Button
    GEM (Pella Coated) (d2)
    Preshave Oil Blend +M-Bomb
    Renaissance Man Bay Rum SS
    Vulfix 404 Grosvenor Badger/Boar
    Clubman -Vanilla

5 Blades this morning on 3+ passes. Took my time and got a superb lather, the kind that is thick as the thickest yogurt. The Renaissance Man BR soap gives me the thickest lather of any soap I have tried so far, and I am a big fan of Arko, Tabac and TSD. For me, getting ultra thick lather is especially beneficial when using my SE's.

    Thursday:
    Gillette Big Fellow
    Gillette 7 'o clock yellow
Semogue 1305 and a Semogue SOC
    TFS Di barile
    444 after shave balm

Two brushes this morning as I just took delivery of an order from Vintagescent and wanted to give both brushes a go. Before using them I already cleaned them and did two testlathers with them.

I love the Speick Aftershave Lotion. Someday I hope to try their Aftershave Balm

For the record; the balm is very nice, BUT it does NOT have that same Speick scent that the ASL or the soap does. It smells similar, but it is different. I was slightly disappointed about the scent, but as far as ASB's go, it gets the job done and then some.

A Visionary shave delivered again. Great Lather whipped easily with the Turkish HH knot, It takes a long time for these knots to really break in, but if you have patience and are persistent, the Turkish HH will reward you. It's certainly not a Knot for everyone. It takes around 3-6 months of regular use to really appreciate it.

Great Shaves today, Gentlemen. And may peace be with you.

    Visal AS Gel :love029::love029::Animatedfrozensmily::Animatedfrozensmily:
    Azzaro Pour Homme EDT

I finally finished off another tube of shaving cream - this Solo Menthol stuff ROCKS! It has a crazy-rich lather with a nice sporty scent, as well as very good skincare. I find the cooling effect light in comparison to Ingram or Proraso Green, but it's still there. The Visal gel is a strong face-freezer - I love it. ;) product_818_pic_big.jpg visal.jpg

    Rooney 3/1 Super Silvertip
VanDerWilliams w/ menthol added (face lather)
OCMM & GEM SS ptfe blade (5th shave)
    Handcrafted Menthol AS/moisturizer

I'm pretty sure I'm on record as having stated how much I like agressive razors. They give a very easy to achieve BBS. Today was no different. BTW, there's no reason that I must have a BBS, but I can so I make it happen. What a fantastic shave! The menthol in the soap and AS really was a nice way to start and finish.

I skipped shaving yesterday to let my face rest and whiskers grow a bit longer than usual. Used the Williams Mug soap and got copious amounts of lather. I don't go for the smell of it, but it worked well and I ended up with a DFS with no nicks or bleeders, maybe the best overall shave I've had so far (my improving technique coupled with the mildness of the Tech is the major reason for this IMO).
