I got hit by a layoff from a high pressure low satisfaction project engineering job in April; and retired shortly thereafter. I love being retired. However, I just accepted a 6 month contract engineering position starting in October, so I'll just be semi-retired for awhile.

 

Yeah. I wasn't really looking into buying into this, when I saw it...I didn't know what to think.

 

my first reaction was, "are you sure you guys want to admit this in public?" I posted my second reaction. And my third and final reaction? $80 body balm. really. and $80 face stuff. These guys have too much money.

 

You're not kidding brother. I just can't believe they admitted it.

 

Hook 'em! We've got to put a stop to stupid penalties, though.

Texas really looked good today. The down side is, it was UCLA....but still, a great confidence booster.

Speaking of confidence booster, I really hope Arkansas blows out Troy tonight...that would put them having an over-inflated ego beating 3 fluff teams in a row before they go to Tuscaloosa. :biggrin:

It's like they're trying to drive users away.

 

It appears that they are. That is where we get most of our in home entertainment too. If I want a gd DVD then send me one! I'm paying you for it. And then they remove the saved list after bumping DVD user prices by 60%.

It sucks, but we're still saving a ton compared to cable, which we dropped more than a year ago. I just hope they don't stupid themselves out of business.....

I've never understood the queue for instant content on netflix. There's no delay for dvd shipment- I either watch it now or I don't. Why do I need a queue if they don't ship anything?

 

I just use the instant queue so I don't have to hunt movies I might want to watch later.

 

I'm shopping wifi ready blue ray players right now so I can have access to content other than netflix.

 

well, crap-sandwich, stinkin' oklahoma won...oh well, looks like Texas may be able to give them a run this year, they nearly pulled it off last year, so I'm hopeful.

It's probably for the best anyway, FSU was ranked fifth, crazy voters could've moved them to 1st if they'd've won.
