    Tell me why it is a cop's job to give me a ticket because I forgot to renew my tags.

    Why doesn't the DMV send reminders?
    Any other bill I forget to pay I get a reminder in the mail.

    Well that scraped any plans I had of cooking dinner tonight. Pizza ordered.
    Of course cooking dinner was the only reason I even left the house.
    Irony? Or just dumb luck?

    Oh, and yes, had tags paid for online within 5 minutes of getting back to the house.

    Nope. I was 5 seconds from the house. And yes, I did cry. No, not to get out of the ticket, but because I didn't do anything wrong, and don't have time nor money to waste on such a stupid thing as going to court or paying a ticket for forgetting to renew tags.

    Now I put a reminder in my email calendar that pops up in a year with a reminder to add an entry for the following year.

    Yeah, I've been making better use of my Google calender for reminders, and will definitely be putting this one on there.

    Maybe they think a snow storm is coming. That always causes a panic and a run on bread and milk, even when it is winter and there is always a snow storm coming.

    I wish we had a snow storm coming, both for the temperature and precipitation that are associated with it.

    BGDAAA! Got 1/3 of the way to work this morning, already running behind, and realized I left my work keys and cell phone on the table....not a good start to the day.

    I think I'll close one eye and poot

    We just got enough rain to make it where I have to mow now. We are still way under for the year.

    I've only had to mow once in the summer.

    same here, what little bit of rain we've gotten the past couple weeks, and the kids have already noticed, "The grass is starting to turn green again!".

    And of course, my brain goes to "well, gonna have to mow again soon"

    I haven't mowed since July 4th weekend, and even that was just to get some of the spots where my wife was watering plants. Since then I've just left the grass to grow, since it's been the only areas with any resemblance to "lawn"

    I saw this morning the local upscale adult beverage serving local (that is also a coffee shop in case you're wondering why I noticed this is in the morning) has Dogfish Head Punkin Ale. Yep, that's how they spell it. I'm very tempted to make a stop on the way home today.

    I have tried a few pumpkin ales. They have all been low on any pumpkin flavor. Bu maybe the Dogfish Head stuff is better.

    Micah, wife and daughter are discussing the evil overuse of the popular photo editing presets and making everything orange and blue.
