For a special treat, show them the live action he-man movie... That thing is like the de-facto color palette for all movies made in the last 10 years.

But, Rutger Hauer as He-Man is just scary!......

1987 version was. I don't know about others. Hmmmm.. they are making another He-Man movie....

Next thing you know, they will be remaking Howard the Duck and it will just be a 2 hour Aflac commercial.

Is that the version with Maria Shriver as Skeletor?

Howard the Duck.... what a blast from the past. Maybe they should mix a couple aliens into one movie. What do you think of Howard the Duck & Alf getting into trouble together for a couple hours? I'm seeing a box office smash! :happy102:

Dolf Lundgren, Rutger Haur....aren't they the same person? :p

Apparently my brain has been fried the last few days. Stressful nights.......long hours, the highlight of the day as been shave time. That's the only time of the day I've been able to get where it's just about me.

My wife is leaving to the Texas school for the blind on Monday. I'm going to be by myself pretty much until about march. Pretty upset about that, but it's for the best.

    It'll just be me.....and the dog....and two cats.....and my wife's guinea pig.

    Holy Carp, that's funny!

Except for the remake part....enough with the frickin' remakes. I'm to the point I'd rather go watch a crappy, terribly reviewed movie than a remake....well, nevermind, most remakes are crappy and terribly reviewed, too.

    ALF!

Loved Alf, I actually just had that show on the mind last week. A high school friend of mine texted me last week, I responded with a joke, and he responded "Ha!"

Which, for this particular friend, who was a major Alfamaniac, I knew to read that in the way Alf would've said it. I laughed my butt off.

Hate that for you, that's a long stinkin' time to be apart, especially since it's in-state, not like a military deployment or anything when you're halfway around the world apart.

Yeah, it kinda sucks. It's only 4 hours away, but that's enough where I can't afford it every week. I was expecting to have more time. I guess it's doesn't really make a difference.

Meh... it'd just be another remake of Logan's Run--like every movie for the last 15 years.

oh yeah Justin, from what I can tell, it's exactly what I'm looking for, my wife will probably want one too.
Heck, at that price, may just go ahead and get a couple now, and get the kids one later.

Then again, they could come out with a 10" version, then the kids could get mine...I don't know, but this is a homerun for them, I think.
It's not as big or powerful as the ipad, doesn't carry the "prestige" of Apple (or the stigma), but I have a netbook and desktop for anything I need more than a tablet.

So glad to have waited through all the other temptations, this is a definite future acquisition
