All joking aside, that free flexor thing looks like it would be a heck of an arm workout if used properly. It makes my forearms ache just thinking about it.

And I'm pretty sure Flexor was a He-Man character.

Except that if you used it in a public place you would be arrested.

Flexors are also a group of skeletal muscles that pull the knee upward.

BEST DAY EVER!!!!! I scored a couple of tickets to this Sunday's Packers game. I got them at face value. So, a friend and I are driving from the Twin Cities to Green Bay Sunday morning. This is my very first visit to Lambeau Field.

So, I figured I'd watch a couple episodes of Dr. Who, I ended up watching ten. Yes....ten! I think I have a problem.

So the day started off grand by having a great breakfast with TWGW and my son. We had a great visit with the midwife and heard the new baby's heartbeat for the 2nd time (this is my favorite part, besides the birth). Then on the way to run some other errands the above happened. Fortunately no one was hurt seriously and the young lady responsible has insurance. My insurance adjuster has already given an estimate of $6,600 which he said is really just a starting point and will most likely go up from there. I have to wait until the other insurance adjuster can look at it on Monday or Tuesday. In the meantime I'm driving a HUGE SUV, a Nissan Armada. I feel sorry that this young lady's first accident is this bad especially considering she was driving mommy's Mercedes! The front end of it was trashed and the radiator was hissing the entire time after the wreck.

  11. Ouch! I hate it when that happens. Glad no one was seriously hurt.

My day was slow until I got on the water kayak bass fishing, then all of a sudden the sun went down and it was time to come in.

Good Saturday morning to all. We here in central Florida are waking up to mid 60 degree weather, FINALLY! I feel like a colt in the field on a crisp morning. Want to run around and kick up my heels.

so what week are you on? 1st trimester? 2nd? And are you going with an out of hospital birth?

We're currently expecting our third and the wife's been meeting with midwives and going to birth centers. I think we found one nearby. The biggest challenge in our area is finding a midwife that speaks English.

That's a very serious problem indeed! You have a lot of Who watching to make up for- ten episodes is nowhere near enough.

Sis-in-law rescheduled the birthday party to start the same time as the Texas game this evening.
Oy! If OU were going to be on TV the party would be tomorrow. Oh well, just signed up for text updates.

We are at 17 weeks. We are using the same midwife that helped us with our son. She was great. He was born at the midwife's house & we had a water birth. It was an amazing experience & we're looking forward to doing it all over again. We'll only end up in a hospital if there is some sort of serious complication which most complications are hospital induced. Good luck finding a midwife, I highly recommend their services.

Very cool. I wish we'd been able to do something similar when my daughter was born. But, we lived in a small town and our insurance would cover such services at the time even if they were available.

Worn out after a lot of overtime the past three weeks. I needed a break today. Loaded a lot of old shaving ads for the folks to see. Hope you enjoy them.
