Well, one has taken the bait!

 

You must do or say something that inspires the mod team to give you one. Don't feel bad, I was a mod for months before I managed one. Even then, it was a comment about how I'd gone so long without getting a CT that earned it.

 

Now two have taken the bait! Too easy!

Not so random rhetorical question: What happened to your CT?

Well... it is the weekend. Time to go back to work to catch up on all the things I didn't have time to get done last week and gear up for the fast looming PSPT which is no longer considerate enough to limit itself to PSPT.

 

I never had a CT to begin with. BGDAAA, a.k.a. PSPT has been expanding rather aggressively lately. I don't like it.

 

PSPT seemed like most of this week. Today finally seems better.
S: Forgot fishing license had to go back home. Cleaning fish and cut off part of fingernail.
M: Long day @ work while in pain due to the finger. Flu starts in the evening.
T: Home sick, but still put in 4 hours. Finger still hurting, but starting to get better.
W: 12 hr day of work while 90% recovered from my flu. VERY tired at the end of the night.
T: Finally feeling better in the morning, so why not have 11 hours of physical labor when I normally expect 1-2 hrs during a day at the plant.
F: 11 and 12 hour days aren't enough, better make this one 13 so I'm extremely exhausted when I get home. At least it wasn't so physical and the finger finally feels good enough to not be in a bandage constantly.
S: Sleep in. Don't need to make the car trip and have a long night as I expected thanks to the unexpected snow storm. I think I'll put on a fire in the evening. Finally a day I've been able to relax.

Just finished up a marathon work weekend.

Data is migrated. Email is emailing. Webserver is serving. Back up is backing up...

Just a few issues I have to deal with tomorrow.

Luckily we are closed tomorrow for Columbus day, so I can move it from the conference room where I spent 42 hours since Friday morning to the server rack tomorrow. Then the real fun begins on Tuesday when my user base comes back.

As reported, Licorice came home last night. She was on the front step mewing to be let back in. We were elated to have her back home, and may have freaked her out a bit in our jubilation. Finally getting over the worst of the stomach virus, but I'm going to take BGDAAAA off, because I just don't feel quite up to it, and I don't want to risk infecting my coworkers, tempting as it may be. I just don't feel like I can bring my "A" game, and I really don't want to start my week that way. I never take sick days anyway.

Thanks everyone for your concern over kitty. We were quite worried, and your well wishes were much appreciated.

morning... heartburn woke me early, 3 hours of sleep, I still feel like bleh.... So this is how PSPT starts this week.
