Could this cream be Lavendor? That stuff has a small amount of menthol in it. I used it quite often when I lived in Israel. The tube is white with a green stripe, and it has a diamond on it. ;)

It's as you described. It doesn't have Lavendor in it at all and came in a rectangle box. All it says on it is "Shaving Cream for skin care - Enriched with menthol extract to refresh the skin".

It is Lavendor. :) The scent is quite nice, and the lather is awesome. My uncles and cousins who live there still use this cream. It's good stuff, and I always bring it back when I travel to Israel.

No, I sure haven't. I have looked at a few recipes, most call for a double boiler, and they sounded too serious for me lol.
As long as my wax lasts, a huge batch would last me a lifetime lol.

My schedule off a little, here is today's mid-morning shave:
NEW Standard w/ Crystal (head & face)
    Knotty Erlenmeyer
    MWF
    Alum
    TSD ADG Type AS

Had a scratch on the left side of my chin that a gave a minor nick on the 2nd of 3 passes. Stopped when I applied alum, but it's been a long time since I've had a nick so I was surprised. Otherwise great shave that without the chin issue would be BBS.

I woke up at 5 with a headache, popped some advil, and procedeed to give my sinus' a good long steam. Now I know it's Sunday, but I couldn't waste that long shower. So to the shave den I go. Also, something seemed wrong with today's shave, I wasn't getting as much hair per stroke-more later.

    My Batting Order

Coffee-a boutique brand that Mom gave me in a canister. No idea but I like it.
    Music-The Grateful Dead

    DE89
Gillette Yellow 7 O'clock (Russia, second use)
    Hot Towel
    eBarber Best Badger
JM Fraser Polar Ice and Mug
    Cold rinse and splash
    eBarber witch hazel
    eBarber Almond Balm
    Old Spice Original

So what made me work harder today?...I forgot the preshave that I have grown to love. I was turned on to preshave's here, and on me, I can now say they work.

The good news is the process of shaving made me feel better, I still have a damn fine shave (I'm sure I will have the best shave of my wing eating football watching childhood buddies as we down a brew or two:angelic007:, andI learned that my preshave works....I had pushed it to the other side of the counter and being a little out of it, I missed it.

I am still pleased with the Yellow Pack Gillettes. Tomorrow is the even more critical shave #3-lol

And the TSD Order is also coming with wheat + sample creams and milks.

It's a good thing I'm divorced or I'd have a hard time explaining how I am saving money.:duel:

    Sunday:

    Omega Wooden Handle
Lord Super/7 AM (not sure which day)
    Everest SC :love055: :love055::smiley freezing::smiley freezing:
    Everest EDC/AS Balsam :love055::love055: :smiley freezing::smiley freezing:

The Lord Super is an excellent razor - it was a nice change from my Super Speed, and I really enjoyed using it. The Everest stuff felt so cool and soothing during and after my shave. My wife says it also smells very nice on me, so gradually she's getting to like more and more of my shaving fragrances. ;)

Prep: 30 minute marinade with TSD ISZ PSB, hot shower, soak brush
Tunes: Victory In Heaven Blues Band ~ V I H
    Soap: Irisch Moos stick
    Brush: Semogue 2000
    OC: Gem MMOC
Blade: Gem, day 5, 3+ passes
Post: Cold water rinse, ice water splash, Brut ASB, Brut cologne, hand strop blade

    Shave Rating: 5 Blades

I really like the scent and performance of the Irisch Moos, just not crazy about sticks! I have thought about grating it into a bowl, as I have done with my Speick, but keep thinking that if I continue to use it as a stick, I'll come around to liking it. Oh, well. Still a great shave.

Atta boy Bob...Helping to expand our injector brethren....All it takes is a shave, and most will discover the wonderful world of injectors as a most pleasing place...:)

I haven't posted here in the SoS thread for about a month because I've used the same soap, brush, razor, blades, after-shave...Every shave has been remarkably consistant...One pass leaves me smooth and smiling...I'm afraid I love my Schick Injector so much, that if I live longer than my stock-pile of blades holds out...New blades will be even harder to find 20 years from now. I'm not interested in using any other type razor, so I guess I'll grow a beard or I'll stock pile enough to last til I'm 100 on the off chance that I live longer than I think...lol. Or in 15 years if I'm still healthy maybe I'll start smoking again, so I won't outlast my stock-pile of injectors...lol!!

    Evry day's shave:
Prep: Hopefully I get to take a hot shower and shampoo and use conditioner on my whiskers.
    Soap: Arko Shave Stick...Bowl lathered
    Brush: Omega 10029 baby-pro boar
    Razor: 1955-58 Schick-Eversharp Hydro-Magic
Blades: Rebranded Personnas...ex.: EMS or Long's Drugs or CVS
Post: Arko-Nem moisturizer, Rebul Lavanda Colonia
