It's definitely on my list of shows to see live. We saw Chicago on one of our first dates, and it was so good, we haven't been able to bring ourselves to see the movie version. We are definitely fans of the live theater, and fans of Weber.

Opera can be fun. I've been to 2. One when I was in 5th or 6th grade, and the school did a summer field trip thing which was neat. Pretty sure it was one of Gilbert & Sullivan's operas, but can't recall which one exactly. Got a tour around the opera house, then watched the play.

Then saw Phantom in the 90s some time up in Seattle.

Both times were so awesome and energizing.

Don't think I could sit through some of that stuff they show doctors and such "at the opera" on tv shows watching. I don't like not knowing what's going on when I watch tv and movies.

Steer clear of Porgie and Bess, unless you speak Creole fluently.

I LOVE the opera. I have only been to one, Tosca, and that was a few months ago. Here in Edmonton they have a clubfor 18-29yr olds that you pay $25 to get into. As a result you will show up the night of the opera and get 2 of the best available tickets for $20 each. My wife and I were like 4th row from the stage...in some of the most expensive seats. needles to say I have signed up again this year and am excited for the opera on Saturday! (I just need to remember to call the babysitter...)

Yesterday it was in the 90's here in Arkansas. Last night the front came through with t-stroms, dropping the temps to the 60's. Today it feels more fall like.
Had a great shave to start the day.

I haven't posted in a while. My wife told me she was leaving me last week. It's taken me a few days to feel better.

On the bright side, the same day that happened, I got offered a better job and I'm going to be moving. It's time for a change I guess.

    I don't really know if it's a bgdaaaa moment....

    so.......

    Unnnggghh......
