Happy Monday From Florida! BabyGirl has announced that we are spending my big Four Oh in Vegas in November (27th to be accurate) ... sooooooo.... What should we do?!?
Oh man....40 and in Vegas! Dangerous mang! When I went to Vegas, I thoroughly enjoyed the Hoover Dam and the Luxor. That big light shining all the way up to space is pretty cool. Treasure Island has some pretty cool Pirate shows! AAaaargh!
Go see Cirque Soleil, have a steak dinner at Gallaghers, stop by the Irish pub next door for an Irish Coffee and watch the Irish Girl do her dance and kicks for starters. See the lion show at MGM Grand, take the trolly everywhere for $5, and then do what ever BG tells you and you will live to see your 41 st birthday. Enjoy everything and stay away from the craps and roullette.
Get married! Oh wait........... Only things I ever did in Vegas was eat, gamble, and get married. Actually, that was only when I didn't live there. When I lived there, all I did was work. Wasn't old enough to gamble then.
The Steakhouse in circus circus for some of the best dry aged beef and lamb. Voted best in vegas for 20 years. B
They have that roller coaster that rides over the edge of the building making it look like you're going over head first.....and eat....a lot
Welp, it is official! I am booked to be in the driver seat of a Lamborghini Superleggera, for 7 laps around the Las Vegas Motor Speedway! Each lap is 1.2 miles! I was one of those kids in the '80's who had a poster of the 25th Anniversary Lamborghini Countach on my bedroom wall. I have always wanted a Lambo, or at least touch one, now I get to drive one! Schweet!
Mantic always seems to have a shave at one of the Vegas luxury hotel barber shops, in fact, he wrote it was just a such a shave that got him into wetshaving. In honor of Mantic, you gotta go for it.
That'll be cool. On a personal note, I don't really like that track for NASCAR races, kinda boring. And Indy has discovered it's not adequate for their series Otherwise, I'd LOVE to take a few rounds at Texas, Talledega, or Daytona, so smile extra big for me (and I guess the rest of us) while you're zooming around. And don't be tweeting to us while you drive!
Enjoy the Lambo! That sounds pretty awsome. Unlike you tho I had a poster of the Diablo on my wall, with purple accents! Enjoy the trip and ride!
Jeff, that is awesome! I was the guy that had a bunch of Porsche posters in my room, but I wouldn't kick a Lambo outta bed for eating crackers! That will be a blast, I'm jealous, have a great time!
